10 A Closer Look at the Exceptional Features of the Montisa Module Series Lateral File Module supports of 16 and 18 gauge steel provide strong inner frame. Standard tops are 1 1 4" high. Security, laminate tops or no top options. Unique to Montisa: a steel rod safety interlock system locks into drawer slides preventing the danger of opening more than one drawer simultaneously per side. Fully sequential ball bearing suspensions provide smooth drawer action with minimum force. Lateral 16 gauge steel crossbar gives extra support and rigidity. Full width finger pulls allow drawers and doors to open from any position. Removable drawer fronts feature double wall construction. Provides easy replacement or custom wood & laminate options. Stacking modules are reversible for shared storage. Drawers easily reconfigure in the field. Reinforced all-welded, heavy-duty 14 & 16-gauge channel formed steel base provides a strong foundation.
