EWCBZ SERIES DESCRIPTION Description The EWCBZ series are Air to Water Heat Pumps incorporating centrifugal fans, specially developed for installations where there is a need of static pressure. Units are delivered totally finished, filled with the operating refrigerant charge, wired and ready for installation. These units have been manufactured under strict quality control through the entire process including a final run test to check the basic operating parameters and securities. Cabinet Units are constructed of high quality galvanized steel plate, finished with a polyester powder coating, electro statically applied and ovenpolymerized of high resistance against corrosion and outside weather conditions. Chassis is constructed of strong steel profiles assuring the necessary rigidity for installation and transport. The finishing is in RAL-0 colour. Refrigerant Circuit Made of high grade refrigerant copper tubing, clean and dehydrated, specially suited for refrigeration purposes. It includes filter drier and Schrader Valves for checking and maintenance operation. Suction accumulator. Four-way valve solenoid operated. Check valves. Brazing is made with silver alloy soldering under inert atmosphere. Compressors One or two compressors: hermetic, reciprocating or Scroll depending upon models. Brazed connections. Inherent thermal protection. Oil charged and incorporating crankcase heater. All compressors are mounted on the unit chassis by means of vibration absorbers. Outdoor coil. Air / refrigerant heat exchanger Made of aluminium fins and seamless copper tubing (/8 ) mechanically expanded. Water / refrigerant heat exchanger Brazed plates, stainless steel. Insulated and incorporating electric heater to prevent freezing. One or two exchangers (one per circuit) depending upon models. Fans Centrifugal fans, double inlet. Fans are of low noise level, they include pre-lubricated bearings and are statically and dynamically balanced. One or two fans according to models. Fans are driven by means of three-phase motors, IP-54 protection. Transmission is through pulleys and belt. Expansion Device In cooling mode, expansion is made by thermostatic expansion valves complemented by refrigerant distributors and nozzles. In heating mode, expansion is made by restrictor (calibrated orifices). Control and Safety Devices Microprocessor. Microchiller type with LC display, programmable, with functions of temperature control and monitoring all the functions of the heat pump: one or two stages cooling, compressor time delay, compressor rotation, etc and indications. Contactor for compressor and fan motors and water pumps. High pressure switch manual reset. Low pressure switch automatic reset. Phase protection and sequence control for Scroll compressors. Main circuit breaker. Terminal block for remote ON/OFF, summer/winter, flow switch, etc Anti-freeze thermostat. Options Hydraulic module: including water tank, water pump, expansion vase, security valve, manometers, water flow control, manual valves (see corresponding catalogue). Head pressure control: dampers operated by a servomotor, pressure monitored. Magnetothermic Circuit Breakers. Precoated (blue alu fins) condenser coil. Compressor Sound Jacket. Other static pressures. Electric Supply 400V. Ph. +N, 50Hz. Other voltages and frequencies upon request. EWCZ SERIES DESCRIPTION General The EWCZ series are water chilling units air cooled condenser incorporating centrifugal fans, specially developed for installations where there is a need of static pressure. Units are delivered totally finished, filled with the operating refrigerant charge, wired and ready for installation. These units have been manufactured under strict quality control through the entire process including a final run test to check the basic operating parameters and securities. Cabinet Units are constructed of high quality galvanized steel plate, finished with a polyester powder coating, electro statically applied and ovenpolymerized of high resistance against corrosion and outside weather conditions. Chassis is constructed of strong steel profiles assuring the necessary rigidity for installation and transport. The finishing is in RAL-0 colour. Refrigerant Circuit Made of high grade refrigerant copper tubing, clean and dehydrated, specially suited for refrigeration purposes. It includes filter drier and Schrader Valves for checking and maintenance operation. Brazing is made with silver alloy soldering under inert atmosphere. Compressors One or two compressors: hermetic, reciprocating or Scroll depending upon models. Brazed connections. Inherent thermal protection. Oil charged and incorporating crankcase heater. All compressors are mounted on the unit chassis by means of vibration absorbers. Outdoor coil. Air / refrigerant heat exchanger Made of aluminium fins and seamless copper tubing (/8 ) mechanically expanded. Water / refrigerant heat exchanger Brazed plates, stainless steel. Insulated and incorporating electric heater to prevent freezing. One or two exchangers (one per circuit) depending upon models. Fans Centrifugal fans, double inlet. Fans are of low noise level, they include pre-lubricated bearings and are statically and dynamically balanced. One or two fans according to models. Fans are driven by means of three-phase motors, IP-54 protection. Transmission is through pulleys and belt. Expansion Device In cooling mode, expansion is made by thermostatic expansion valves complemented by refrigerant distributors and nozzles. Control and Safety Devices Microprocessor. Microchiller type with LC display, programmable, with functions of temperature control and monitoring all the functions of the chiller: one or two stages cooling, compressor time delay, compressor rotation, etc and indications. Contactor for compressor and fan motors and water pumps. High pressure switch manual reset. Low pressure switch automatic reset. Phase protection and sequence control for Scroll compressors. Main circuit breaker. Terminal block for remote ON/OFF, summer/winter, flow switch, etc Anti-freeze thermostat.
