1 TMV3 Mixing Valves TMV3 mixing valve inside DVS shower tower 2in1TMV3 thermostatic mixing valve TMV3 mixing valve supplying mixed water to DVS tap TMV3 Thermostatic Mixing Valves A highly advanced TMV3 approved thermostatic mixing valve for use in basin, shower, bidet and high pressure bathfill applications (above 1bar). The valve is designed to control the mixed water outlet temperature to within +/- 2 o c regardless of fluctuations in the temperature and pressure of the hot and cold water supplies, and to shut the mixed water outlet instantly in case of hot or cold water failure*. It incorporates a unique purpose-built adjuster key so that standard tools cannot be used by unauthorised persons to change the set outlet temperature. *Supply conditions must remain within limits stated. Temperature Readout This handheld temperature readout device is designed to be used with TMV3 mixing valves for reading water temperature. The probe can be plugged in to the TMV3 valve and then removed after the temperature has been verified. Features include: Supplied with 2in1 connection fittings incorporating a single check valve to prevent cross flow, and disc type strainers, fitted upstream of the check valves, to prevent the valve becoming contaminated. A "dummy" valve blanking set is available (part no. HTEE ) to be fitted in place of the valve body to enable the installer to flush out the system prior to commissioning. Supplied with 4in1 service fittings featuring an isolating ball valve, large surface area strainer, single check valve for crossflow protection, and a gauge/flushing port for checking system conditions or for connection of a flushing hose (part no. FLSE ) to remove system debris prior to commissioning the mixing valve. There are under-sink and over-sink models to suit demands from low-usage single basin installations, to heavy-usage 2-3 basin installations. Installations of unvented water heaters of 15 litres or less are treated differently by regulations and guidelines from those of more than 15 litres. Anti-corrosion systems Thermostat All Ariston water heaters are equipped with quality thermostats, which guarantee high performance and safety. Thermal Cut-Out All Ariston Europrisma water heaters are also equipped with a manual reset thermal cut-out. This device overrides the main thermostat in the case of failure. Ariston Europrisma water heaters are vitreous enamel coated, highstrength steel for performance and durability. All are factory fitted with an active magnesium anode to give guaranteed long tank life. The magnesium anode system is a sacrificial anode positioned inside the tank in such a manner as to ensure easy inspection and replacement when necessary. Relief Valves All Ariston Europrisma unvented water heaters are supplied with either a factory fitted temperature and pressure relief (T&P) valve (model EP30 R only), or a separate pressure relief (PR) valve. The T&P valve prevents the stored water from exceeding 100 C in the event of the failure of the other safety devices. The PR valve is supplied as standard with Europrisma 10 and 15 litre models and protects from over pressurising.
