1 Application which will synchronize the other electronic radiator thermostats in the same room. living connect features an open-window function, which closes the valve if the temperature in the room is falling dramatically. Main features in a system with the Danfoss Link TM CC: living connect is an electronic radiator thermostat for residential use. It is controlled by a central device called Danfoss Link TM CC. The Danfoss Link TM CC can also control hydronic and electrical floor heating and on/off switches in a building. living connect uses Z-Wave wireless communication technology, is easy to install and is supplied with adapters for all thermostatic valves manufactured by Danfoss and most other radiator valve manufacturers. living connect is battery powered, compact and very easy to operate with only three buttons on the front. 3 Data Sheet Type K adaptor RTD adaptor Code no. 014G G0253 Marking Installation living connect is supplied with adapters for Danfoss RA valves and valves with M30X1.5 (K) connections (014G0002), two alkaline AA batteries and a 2 mm Allen key. Inserting the batteries Remove the battery cover and insert the two batteries. Ensure that the batteries are correctly inserted. M must flash on the display before installation. RA K Start by mounting the adapter. Tighten the RA adapter using the Allen key.tighten the K adapter by hand (max. 5 Nm). Screw the thermostat onto the adapter and hand-tighten (max. 5 Nm). 2 mm Allen key for approx. 3 seconds Press and hold to fix the thermostat. Danfoss Heating Solutions VDFNS102 Danfoss 01/2011 3

4 Configuration For practical reasons, it is recommended that the Danfoss Link TM CC is connected to a battery pack (014G0262). This makes the device mobile, and it can then easily be positioned at a distance of up to 1.5 m from each radiator thermostat that is to be added to the system. For step by step configuration, please see the living connect Installation and User Guide. Remove the front cover from the Danfoss Link TM CC by carefully levering it off, starting with the bottom corners. Press and hold down the setup button using a ballpoint pen for approximately three seconds to start the installation menu (the start-up phase may take several minutes).
