I installed this because I have to branches coming off my main feed, 1 to master and 1 to the rest of my house which caused my master to get 5-6 cooler than the rest of the house. Installed then at the attachment of the master branch and opened it to about 75%. Worked great and allowed the rest of my house to cool/ heat much more evenly.
