4 KEY FEATURES 03 Pinguino Portable Air Conditioner Key Features WATER-TO-AIR TECHNOLOGY THE PROCESS IN ACTION: 9% COOLER AIR THE SPLASH MOTOR SPRAYS WATER OVER THE CONDENSER, COOLING IT DOWN CREATING 9% COOLER AIR THAN TRADITIONAL AIR-TO-AIR MODE The exclusive Water-to-Air technology expels 9% cooler air* into the room. Water stored in the tank is delivered to a collection tray where it is pumped upward over the condenser. The condenser is cooled by the water, increasing the efficiency of the condenser. Due to the increased efficiency and cooler air, a lower fan speed may be selected, reducing the energy consumption of the unit. The unit also remains at cooler temperature as a result of this technology and does not act as a heat source, further reducing heat in the room. Benefits of R290 Eco Gas: R290 Refrigerant provides high operational efficiency, low running costs and reduced energy consumption. It is a naturally occurring hydrocarbon which is non toxic with a low global warming potential of 3 compared to other hazardous refrigerants that have a global warming potential of up to 1,890. *Global Warming Potential measures how much a given mass of greenhouse gas is estimated to contribute to global warming (e.g. 1,890 is equivalent to 1.89 tonnes of CO2 per kg of refrigerant). Applies to models: PACWE112ECO Biosliver technology refers to an advanced filtration system made up of specifically designed composite filters that effectively remove impurities and odours from the air. Step 1. Air passes through a dust filter which traps larger dust particles and atmospheric dust, which are drawn in from the air in the room. Step 2. The silver ion filter has an efficient antibacterial action which greatly reduces concentrations of irritant such as pollen and spores. The filter is treated with small particles of silver which are able to block the multiplication of and kill any nearby airborne bacteria. The 3M filter is electrostatically charged and retains the finest dust particles. Working together the system delivers a high filtration capacity, returning fresh, filtered air to the room.
