1 Transfer Stations The items that each transfer station will accept will vary, so be sure to check out the following pages and call the contact number or the Conservation District if you have any questions. Terms to Know: Waste materials that cannot be recycled, donated, or reused and can safely be sent to the landfill (i.e. garbage) Single Stream Recycling recyclable plastics, paper, metals, and glass that are not sorted Yard Waste leaves, branches, and grass clippings Commonly Accepted Items (call to confirm if not listed): Cardboard, Catalogs, Glass (blue, brown, clear, green, etc.), Magazines, Mattresses, Metal Cans, Metal Jar Lids, Newspapers, Paper, Phonebooks, Plastic
