2 Chicago Wilderness Founded 14 years ago Alliance of 254 partner organizations NIIPP Multiple initiatives and collaborations Over 370,000 acres of natural areas Chicago Wilderness provides an established network of partners to build upon for the CWMA, an established network for communication, has a good working relationship with the USFS, and a 501 (c)(3) trust established to allow for the hiring of a coordinator position.
