4 program underwriting Each year, thousands of children and adults visit the Botanical Garden to learn about plants and ecosystems in a practical way. Funding transportation for a class of students, supplies and staff for a week-long summer camp or volunteer needs are some ways your company can help students access quality educational programming that is fun and effective. Gifts of all sizes are welcome and recognized. Children s Vegetable Garden - The second oldest program of its kind in the nation teaches children how to grow, nurture and harvest a garden of vegetables, fruit, and flowers. Terrarium Ecosystem Program - Our signature field-trip program exposes children to ecology and life sciences by allowing them to get their hands dirty and connect with nature. Teacher education programs instruct educators on how to engage children in outdoor learning and tie lessons at the Garden into the school curriculum. Junior Naturalist and Junior Gardener camps immerse children in the world of plants and nature. Little Sprouts engages the youngest children in garden-related activities. Animal Botanical allows special needs children to enjoy the Garden. Career programs such as Certified Arborist Training promote smart landscaping and gardening practices for horticulture or landscaping professionals. Classes offered to the public on gardening, landscaping, WaterSaving, health and wellness, arts, and more are an important community resource. annual fund Financial support of the San Antonio Botanical Garden is critical to its continued mission. Exciting new improvements are on the horizon for our 38-acre Garden, with plans for a redesigned community entrance, expanded classroom space and a Family Adventure Garden. Support the Garden and gain community recognition for your company by sponsoring one of these: BOOtanica, Family Flashlight Night, and Viva Botanica! are annual family favorites that combine education with celebration to draw 1,200 to 2,000 attendees each to the Garden. Family exhibits like Nature Connects, Art with LEGO Bricks, and Rainforest Adventure Maze fascinate and enlighten tens of thousands of visitors of all ages for several months at a time. Our year-long Art in the Garden exhibit provides Dog Days nurtures the human-canine bond by allowing dogs to accompany their owners to the Garden. Brews & Blooms combines music, casual culinary fare, and various craft brews to the Garden for an upbeat experience. Splendor in the Garden Gala is a magical evening of food, friends, dinner and dancing in the gorgeous Garden setting. outstanding sculptural arts experiences for the Garden s 130,000 annual visitors. Event sponsorship allows you to contribute visibly to the cultural life of the community and to showcase your business to event attendees. Sponsorship packages start at just $1,000. gifting opportunities Living Beds Dedication of a year-long living garden bed may be a meaningful tribute to thank a business associate or honor someone s accomplishment. Each Living Bed gift is 100% tax deductible and will be marked with a sign displaying the donor s name and the person being recognized. Commemorative Benches A Commemorative Bench at the San Antonio Botanical Garden creates a lasting tribute to a special person. A personalized brass plaque names the honoree. Garden staff provide guidance in determining an appropriate location. The $2,500 gift is 100% tax deductible. Honoraria The San Antonio Botanical Garden is always grateful to accept financial gifts of any size to honor or memorialize special persons or special occasions. These contributions may be directed to a specific area of the donor s choosing.

Corporate receptions, employee retreats and holiday parties are some events hosted here at the Garden. Taught by professionals and experienced volunteers, Garden classes are fun and educational. Children Children explore nature and get their hands on horticulture with fun, interactive classes and camps. Whether growing their own vegetables or conducting science experiments, programs at the Garden help kids cultivate their curiosity and create connections to the natural world.
