LOCATION Standing in an 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty' amongst some of the county's favourite Hills, (Caer Caradoc Hill being the nearest at a height of 1500ft), Cardington is the ideal village with a community spirit, unspoilt by progress and full of character with a glorious Church, Village Hall, character properties and a renowned country pub all within an easy stroll from the cottage. The Royal Oak dates to the C15th and is famous for it's local Ales and Fidget Pie, enjoyed once by Prince Edward. At weekends there are many ramblers travelling through enjoying the abundance of walks for all abilities that include the Long Mynd, Wenlock Edge and the village pub en-route. Leaving this idyllic country setting, within 10 minutes you are on the A49 an important road linking Hereford up to Chester passing through Shrewsbury. The nearest shopping can be found in Church Stretton, Much Wenlock or head into Shrewsbury Town for a full range of amenities including excellent schools, sports facilities and hospitals. ACCOMMODATION Renovated with double glazed windows and recent bathroom fittings, the charm has been retained so we would highly recommend viewing internally. Entering onto the gated driveway a footpath leads past ornamental roses to the front entrance comprising: Charming Hallway with flagstone flooring, feature stonework and exposed beams, door to a guest Cloakroom/WC and cupboard.
