4 Location The Limes is situated a short distance outside of the village of Ettington in attractive rolling South Warwickshire countryside about 4 miles south-east of Stratford-Upon-Avon. Ettington, formerly know as Eatington, is believed to have historic origins as a Saxon settlement and a Roman encampment.
