ECOSS conducted multilingual RainWise outreach to potential demonstration sites in targeted combined sewer overflow areas. Our staff helped the mosque throughout the project which serves as a teaching tool for the public and reduces sewer overflows. Additional Information: This is Seattle's first RainWise mosque. In a typical year, the two rain gardens and four cisterns will capture/slow 118,800 gallons of water.
