12 Part Identification AP Sensor The charging plug on the sensor is also the source of the alarm. If your customer pulls out this plug, the alarm will sound. Gold is Good! Solid gold light = System is armed Blinking gold light = Alarming 12

13 IR2 Key Setup Plug power supply into Programming Station. Confirm the GREEN LED light on the Programming Station. Plug power supply into Charger. Confirm the GREEN LED light on the Charger. Fully charge IR2 key in charger. The keys will charge in 2 hours and GREEN LED light on key will light up when charged. After key has been charged, RED light will show up in circle, indicating key must be place in Programming Station. 5 Place key into Programming Station and press and hold the button until you hear a beep to confirm that key has been activated. 6 Full blue circle = Fully charged, 12 hours of activation. These keys will turn off your alarms; activate them every morning. 13

14 Series 2000 Puck & Custom Wedge Installation 1 Wipe the top of the wedge 2 Slide the puck (MP200) 3 Remove the dear film from 4 (MP229) and the top of the display counter with the alcohol wipe provided. 22 Series 2000 Tablet Installation (Must use MP014) 1 Use the multi tool to open the 2 Remove the sensor cord from 3 Wipe the back of the tablet 4 sensor. the medallion. with the alcohol wipe provided. Make sure the strain relief is tucked into the medallion. Close the medallion and tighten screw with multi tool. 22

23 Bridge: Wall Mount Installation 1 Remove the ring on the clear tube (MP238). 2 Wipe the wedge and clear tube with the alcohol wipe provided. Let it dry completely. 3 Remove the clear film from the adhesives on the bottom of the handheld IR puck. 4 Attach the puck onto the wedge with the cord coming out the short end of the wedge. Press firmly for at least 10 seconds. 5 Remove the film on the adhesive on the bottom of the wedge. 6 Attach the wedge onto the clear tube. Confirm the puck cord is tucked into the groove of the clear tube. 7 Wipe the front of the fixture with the alcohol wipe provided. Let it dry completely. 8 Slide puck cord and assembly through the fixture. 23

Let it dry completely. 19 Use the multi tool to open sensor. 20 Pull the sensor components apart. 21 Plug the power connector into the merchandise. 22 Remove clear film from adhesive. 23 Place the sensor onto back of 24 merchandise as it appears in the image above. Press firmly for at least 10 seconds. Route cable through sensor. Make sure the strain relief is tucked into the medallion. 25

27 Bridge: Droid Installation 1 Wipe the top of the fixture and wedge with the alcohol wipe provided. Let it dry completely. 2 Remove the clear film from the adhesives on the bottom of the puck. 3 Attach the puck onto the wedge with the cord coming out the short end of the wedge. Press firmly for at least 10 seconds. 4 Remove the film on the adhesive on the bottom of the wedge. 5 Push the cord all the way through the groove in the wedge. Press wedge firmly onto fixture for at least 10 seconds. 6 Slide cord through the slot in the fixture directly behind the IR puck. 7 Below the fixture: Plug the puck cord into the alarm unit below the counter. 8 Plug the power supply into the alarm unit auxiliary cord and into the outlet. 27

35 Cam Lock Installation 1 Remove screws and metal plate inside drawer. 2 Insert Cam Lock into recess opening in door. Be sure to test Cam with programmed IR Key and make sure lens shows locked position (solid black eye). 3 Make sure lock is inserted in 4 correct direction by checking alignment of IR lens in hole from front. Observe IR lens to confirm LOCKED as shown above. Place metal plate over Cam Lock. in place. around Cam barrel. 5 Tighten screws holding plate 6 Place anti-rotation washer 7 Thread Cam Lock nut on bar- 8 rel and tighten. Bend all 3 prongs on antirotation washer over nut. 35

36 Cam Lock Installation 9 Place Cam arm on barrel. Be 10 Photo indicates arm position 11 sure to orientate the Cam arm to the LOCKED position, this is straight up. Hand tighten arm on barrel with a screwdriver. DO NOT USE POWER TOOLS! for LOCKED Cam Lock. Photo indicates arm position for UNLOCKED Cam Lock. Test lock before closing drawer. L-BRACKET ADJUSTMENT 1 Loosen screws. Slide L- 2 Tighten screws to secure L- 3 Bracket forward or backward so Cam arm is 1/8 or less away from metal leg when in locked position. Bracket. Test lock to ensure it operates correctly. If Cam arm hits L-Bracket and cannot fully swing behind metal leg, use key to unlock and pull drawer and adjust L-Bracket as needed. DO NOT manually move Cam arm. 36

Press ribbon cable to adhere adhesive onto fixture. 10 Remove white tab to activate battery and remove clear film from both adhesives on alarm unit (HS100). 11 Plug ribbon cable into alarm unit. 12 Align hole in alarm unit with bugle. Press firmly for at least 10 seconds. 13 Using tool, tighten bulge onto alarm unit. 14 Pull the gate open on the alarm unit. Use T-8 bit to loosen screw to hold open gate. 15 Slide sensor (HS144) cable through bugle. IMPORTANT! Follow next steps in order or cable will not fit through bugle. 38

43 HS100 Installation Smart Stores 15 Remove white tab to activate battery from alarm unit (HS100). Wipe alarm unit with alcohol wipe provided. Let it dry completely. 16 Remove the clear film from the adhesive on the mounting plate. 17 A: Place alarm unit into mounting plate with opening in alarm unit aligning with hold in bracket. 17 B: Press firmly for at least 10 seconds. 18 Plug ribbon cable into alarm unit. 19 Slide mounting bracket through screws. 20 Tighten both wingnuts onto screws. 21 Pull the gate open on the alarm unit. Use T-8 bit to loosen screw to hold open gate. 43

48 Frequently Asked Questions Q. How does the IR2 Key work? A. The IR2 Programming Station activates the IR2 Key: An activated key can be used for up to 12 hours (Fig. 4). Charging will de-activate the key (Fig. 1). When you remove the key from the charger you will get a red circle in the key (Fig. 2), the key will need to be re-activated on the Programming Station before use (Fig. 3). Q. How do I re-activate my IR2 Key? A. Re-activate your IR2 Key on the Programming Station (Fig. 3). Place the IR2 Key directly onto the IR Lens on the Programming Station and press the black button. You cannot do this from a distance. If the IR2 Key is re-activated properly, the BLUE light on the IR2 Key will light up (Fig. 4). Q. How do I know if my IR2 Key is working? A. Press the black button once on the IR2 Key, the BLUE light on the IR2 Key will light up (Fig. 4).
