Monitors battery status. Sends data to the Beghelli CLOUD to automatically update the lighting system periodic log. Allows direct transmission of test and rest mode commands. LIGHTING Facilitates the work of company maintenance operators. Allows adjustment of the light brightness (maximum and minimum). Allows deactivation, activation and management of the Auto-dimmer function. Allows adjustment of the light power. Allows activation and deactivation of the motion sensor and delay. Allows activation of a light lock code.

BEGHELLI CLOUD PORTAL

MAIN PORTAL FUNCTIONS LIGHTING & EMERGENCY Facilitates the work of installers and company maintenance operators and allows automatic monitoring of the lighting system periodic log for each and every system, as required by APPLICABLE REGULATIONS. All data is automatically collected via the Opticom Technology App.

EMERGENCY APP: SYSTEM CREATION & MAINTENANCE SYSTEM CREATION During the installation of the lights, in order to activate the OPTICOM functions, remove the jumper and connect the battery. With power supply to the light, the indicator LED will become a steady orange to indicate that the light is ready to receive OPTICOM commands. OPTICOM MULTICOLOUR LED INDICATIONS: o STEADY RED: Opticom NOT working - Battery disconnected o STEADY ORANGE: Opticom activated - Configuration NOT complete - Lock code NOT entered o FLASHING ORANGE: Opticom communication active (time window approx. 3 minutes) Now, create a new system and enter each light via the app as indicated in these instructions. At the end of the procedure, all the data will be logged in the OPTICOM portal. SYSTEM MAINTENANCE After creation of the system, actions can be performed via the app at any time, such as checking the status of the system, modifying settings and sending commands.

EMERGENCY APP: NEW SYSTEM CREATION INSTALLER LOGIN TYPE SELECTION The app first asks which type of system you want to operate: EMERGENCY or LIGHTING ADD PLANT Allows the addition of a new system Insert SYSTEM DESCRIPTION Insert SYSTEM DATA

EMERGENCY APP: NEW SYSTEM CREATION SELECTION OF CREATED SYSTEM SELECTION OF ZONE LIST ADD ZONE INSERT ZONE NAME ADD LAMP Allows the addition of a new light to the selected zone

EMERGENCY APP: NEW SYSTEM CREATION LIGHT DESCRIPTION ID decided by user and name indicating position Selection of light to operate OPTICAL SYNCHRONIZATION: LIGHT NOT SYNCHRONIZED (LED indicator steady orange) PHASE 1: UNBLOCK LUMINAIRE (flashing light response and LED indicator flashing orange) Acquisition success: unblocked

EMERGENCY APP: NEW SYSTEM CREATION Luminaire set up Acquisition success : unblocked and ready for set up END INSTALLATION Installation COMPLETE CONFIRM WITH BACK BUTTON TO LOG DATA TO THE CLOUD DATA LOGGED IN CLOUD At the end of the communication window (3 min), the LED indicator will turn green.

EMERGENCY APP: SYSTEM MAINTENANCE INSTALLER LOGIN TYPE SELECTION PLANT SELECTION EDIT PLANT The app first asks which type of system you want to operate: EMERGENCY or LIGHTING Selection of the system from those installed by the installer logged via LOGIN and PASSWORD The name of the system may be modified at any time.

EMERGENCY APP: SYSTEM MAINTENANCE ZONE SELECTION Select the zone to operate ZONE SELECTION Selected lamp screen EDIT LAMP NAME The name of the light may be modified at any time.

EMERGENCY APP: SYSTEM MAINTENANCE Take a photo of the installed light to simplify identification and to document correct installation. If, due to a fault, the light can no longer communicate with the smartphone via Opticom, the fault can be reported to the cloud. Restores the light to the original configuration. Works as a lamp reset button. After tapping this button, the light will no longer be synchronized. Deletes the light from the cloud. The light may only be deleted after it has been uninstalled.

EMERGENCY APP: SYSTEM MAINTENANCE OPTICAL SYNCHRONIZATION Now proceed with optical synchronization, which is divided in two phases: UNBLOCKING and SYNCHRONIZATION PHASE 1: UNBLOCK LUMINAIRE PHASE 2: SYNCHRONIZE STATUS STATUS Once done, via the smartphone, you can view the status of the light, check for any malfunctions or MODIFY OPERATING PARAMETERS

EMERGENCY APP: SYSTEM MAINTENANCE OPTICOM unique identifier code Lamp parameters after synchronization Select duration: 1h, 1.5h, 2h, 3h, 8h Every Opticom product has a default of 1h. This parameter can only be modified via the Opticom app. SE/SA/PS selection (only SA models) Alternating management of duration tests: Even = test one week after odd Fast recharge active = recharge time from 40min to 4 hours (depending on model). With fast recharge activated the SA/PS function is restored at the end of the recharge time (in SA models default is not activated) Fast = duration test always 1h Actual = duration test equal to emergency duration

EMERGENCY APP: SYSTEM MAINTENANCE LUMINAIRE ACTIONS Specific commands can be sent directly from the app: SA SE REST MODE, inhibits powering on in emergency START A DURATION TEST START A FUNCTIONAL TEST STOP TEST

LIGHTING APP: screens and functions To switch user profile from «BASIC» to «VERIFIED» installer, request the upgrade via the app and follow the steps given. Remember that a BASIC user may only create a system with one zone and a limited number of lights. The upgrade to «VERIFIED» user is free.

LIGHTING APP: screens and functions The option «PROGRAMMING» is only visible to the «VERIFIED» installer user profile. COMMANDS At this point, if I am an END-USER, I can command the lights as I want: ADJUST BRIGHTNESS, SWITCH ON OR OFF THE AUTO-DIMMER, ACTIVATE THE MOTION SENSOR and SENSOR DELAY. TYPE SELECTION The app first asks which type of system you want to operate: EMERGENCY or LIGHTING

LIGHTING APP: screens and functions On this app screen the user can: Choose the unblock security code previously set by the installer: Opticom communication can only operate if the unblock code and the one set on the light are the same. Light dimmer manual adjustment With AUTO-DIMMER or MOTION SENSOR set to ON it is not possible to manually dim the light. Light power on / off Auto-dimmer on / off Motion sensor on / off With the light set to OFF, the AUTO- DIMMER and MOTION SENSOR functions are not enabled. Once the light configuration is set, it needs to be synchronized with the smartphone. Motion sensor delay: A time ranging from 30 sec to 60 min after which, if the sensor is not triggered by someone moving, the light begins to fade until it reaches the minimum intensity set by the installer. Maximum and minimum power can only be set by a VERIFIED installer user. The time required for the light to go from the maximum power to minimum power gradually is 3 minutes.

LIGHTING APP: Installer user screens and functions PROGRAMMING SYNCHRONIZATION For command to be sent, OPTICAL SYNCHRONIZATION must be initiated. Enabled only for installers COMMANDS If you are an INSTALLER (verified user), you will find the programming button enabled, which gives access to various specific exclusive functions.

LIGHTING APP: screens and functions Choose the unblock security code previously set by the installer: Opticom communication can only operate if the unblock code and the one set on the light are the same. Setting of the maximum and minimum power of the light when the AUTO-DIMMER and MOTION SENSOR functions are activated by the user. Power of the light when it is powered by direct current, for example, when it is powered by an emergency DC unit.

LIGHTING APP: screens and functions Brightness set point which the auto-dimmer, if enabled, will use to regulate the brightness: - Auto-calibration: self-learning - Immediate calibration: manual setting of the set point Percentage of set point brightness required for the light to reach minimum power. The lower the percentage set, the less external light required for the light to start to dim. To avoid too much dimming difference between lights installed in the same environment, the percentage should be kept high. To maximize energy savings, the percentage should be kept lower. The set point is the level of light needed to ensure the optimum level of light in the environment (as per design).

LIGHTING APP: screens and functions Motion sensor sensitivity: Set a lower value to avoid false triggering or a higher value if the light is installed up high. Setting a new unblock security code (0-30 and DISABLED): It is recommended to change the unblock code of the lights to prevent others from changing the settings. There is also the option to block use of the Opticom functions by selecting DISABLED. Within the first minute after turning on the light, the new code can be modified independently without use of the old code. After the first minute, the previous code must be known. Every time optical synchronization is initiated, the light will respond by flashing, except for synchronization of manual dimming and on and off functions.

OPTICOM Technology default settings AUTO-DIMMER: ENABLED AUTO-CALIBRATION: ENABLED AUTO-DIMMER COMPENSATION: 500% MOTION SENSOR: DISABLED SENSIBILITY: medium MOTION SENSOR DELAY: 16 minutes UNBLOCK CODE: 10

How to enable the AUTO-DIMMER, OPTICOM & MOTION SENSOR functions on the SD device AUTO-DIMMER: Connect the OPTICOM sensor. Each SD device already has the Opticom sensor installed but it is disconnected from the driver. Connect the sensor to activate the AUTO-DIMMER function in AUTO-CALIBRATION mode with COMPENSATION set to 500%. OPTICOM COMMUNICATION: After connecting the OPTICOM sensor, remove the labelled jumper. To install the Domotic Radio Module 15022, the jumper must be removed in order to connect the module in its place. In this case the OPTICOM communication must be configured via the SD Manager software. To install the DALI Module 15024, the jumper must be removed in order to connect the module in its place. In this case the OPTICOM communication may not be enabled. To install the 1-10V Module 15034, the jumper must be removed in order to connect the module in its place. In this case the OPTICOM communication may not be enabled. MOTION SENSOR: After connecting the OPTICOM sensor, remove the jumper and enable the function via the OPTICOM app. OPTICOM Technology sensor connector Module connector (DOMOTIC RADIO, DALI, 1-10V) Each OPTICOM SD device will have a jumper attached in this position that must be removed in order to enable the OPTICOM functions.

Procedure for setting the operating mode via ON switch (This procedure allows simultaneous set-up of all the lights connected on the same electrical network) Start the sequence with the light already on. The procedure can be performed on various light (e.g. on all lights connected to the same switch). Setting with auto-dimmer and auto-calibration enabled: 1. Turn the light rapidly off and back on four times. (OFF à ON à OFF à ON à OFF à ON à OFF à ON and leave ON), max. time OFF = 1s, max. time ON = 1s. 2. The light will flash twice (OFF à ON à OFF à ON) to indicate correct receipt of the command. 3. The auto-calibration process will start and will require several tens of hours in order to individuate the correct reference point for the auto-dimmer. Setting with auto-dimmer enabled and immediate calibration: This function will calibrate the reference point to the light level at that moment. The setting must be performed at night, or, in any case, without sunlight. 1. Turn the light rapidly off and back on six times. (OFF à ON à OFF à ON à OFF à ON à OFF à ON à OFF à ON à OFF à ON and leave ON), max. time OFF = 1s, max. time ON = 1s. 2. The light will flash three times (OFF à ON à OFF à ON à OFF à ON) to indicate correct receipt of the command. 3. The calibration process will start and will last for 2 minutes at the end of which the light level will be saved as the reference point for the auto-dimmer. This value will NOT be updated automatically by the light. Setting to the maximum power set by the user (auto-dimmer disabled) This will disable the auto-dimmer so that the light will operate always at the maximum power set by the user (via Opticom or radio). The factory setting of this power is at the product specification power. 1. Turn the light rapidly off and back on eight times.(off à ON à OFF à ON à OFF à ON à OFF à ON à OFF à ON à OFF à ON à OFF à ON OFF à ON, and leave ON), max time OFF = 1s, max tempo ON = 1s. 2. The light will flash once (OFF à ON) to indicate correct receipt of the command. 3. The light will go to the maximum power set. From this moment, the power will not change from the maximum value set (modifiable via Opticom or radio).
