Indispensability of Fire Extinguisher In case of fire in your house or working place, we usually call 911 but it takes at least 5 to 10 minutes for a fire engine to arrive in the accident spot. Unfortunately, within the amount of the time, fire could spread into the entire house and possibly reach up to the other buildings. It means if we can t prevent the spread of fire within one or two minutes, then we have no choice but to suffer a huge damage. The speed of fire spread is so fast that sometimes small and simple fire accidents become big blaze disasters. Therefore it is so much important to spot a fire in an early stage and extinguish it right at that moment. Experts say that one small fire extinguisher in an early stage of fire equals to one fire engine in effectiveness.
Overview of Ice Fire - Agent Cooling Action: Agents of Ice Fire cools down the temperature of the source of fire rapidly. Negative Catalysis Action: Minerals in Agents react against fire and produce CO2 which helps to extinguish fire effectively. Penetration Action: Agents of Ice Fire is effective in wood and furniture fires as they easily penetrate into such materials due to low surface tension. Isolation Fire from Oxygen: Agents of Ice Fire instantly forms a capsule around source of fire and prevent supply of oxygen to fire.
Strong Points of Ice Fire Agent Main ingredient is eco-friendly. The agents are transparent and colorless liquids with no smell and harmless to human body. Even though the agents are liquid type, their freezing temperature is below -20. So you have no problem using and keeping Ice Fire in a cold weather. As the agents have high effectiveness in penetration and cooling, they are effective in putting off fires such as on sofa, furniture and oil stove which are even difficult to extinguish with Dry Chemical Extinguishers. As the agents contain non-flammable material, they prevent flames from spreading out. There are no settlement or transformation of the agents even kept for a longer time
Ice Fire System The discharging power of Ice Fire reaches up to 3 meters maximum so you can extinguish a fire safely away from the flames. As Ice Fire uses compressed air or nitrogen for propellant, it is not sensitive to surrounding temperature. As Ice Fire adopts an aerosol can type, it is easy to store and quick to react to fires. Children and the elderly at the touch of a button aerosol method is also easy to use.
Chemical Properties of the Agent Articles Net volume chemical properties 400ml ph 7.7 Specific gravity Freezing point below -20 Precipitation none Solubility 100% Appearance Storage Period Chemical Separation Toxic Corrosiveness clear, colorless liquid Minimum 5 years none none Almost none
Comparison with Other Fire Extinguisher Agent Classification Ice Fire Dry Chemical Extinguisher Agent Other Wet Agent Main ingredient potassium carbonate ammonium phosphate vegetable extraction or chemical compound Freezing point below -20 below -20 below -1 Separation & precipitation none none depending on temperature Smell none ammonium smell none Flame-retardation efficient efficient none Corrosiveness almost none very corrosive almost none Environment Eco-friendly harmful Eco-friendly Fire involving oil suitable suitable Not suitable Damage from residue none damage to electrical equipment none
Comparison with Dry Chemical & Carbon Dioxide Extinguishers Classification Ice Fire, fire engine Dry Chemical & CO2 Fire fighting Easy to operate as one touch spray system. Easy and safe even for children and aged people. Quick and swift reaction to fire. Un-easy to use as they take several steps to operate such as removing safety pin and users are not familiar with those steps unlike aerosol spray type of Fire Zero. Safekeeping Only small space is needed. Storable almost anywhere. Need more space Mobility easy & light (560g) Un-easy & heavy (3-5Kg) Maintenance efficiency Harmful Residue No special maintenance required Almost none Periodical maintenance required such as the pressure of extinguishers Much residue especially harmful to electrical equipment in Dry Chemical
