5 1. Introduction FT Series 5 includes many new features and benefits. In summary these include: Remote Alarms Monitoring using Contact ID Wizards to guide the operator through the process of setting up access control and creating cardholders 10BaseT connection to an existing network. All inputs, outputs and readers are user-definable they are not assigned specific functions. Name-based Cardholder management rather than IDnumber based. Downloadable code to field devices. Multiple cards for cardholders. System Division for multi-tenanted buildings. Line-by-line log printing. Dial-up access to field devices. OPC (alarms and events). Integrated Digital Camera incorporating motion sensing and exposure masking. Integrated intercom. 24 Challenge Doors can be selected as Challenge doors. When a cardholder presents their card at a challenge door, a picture of the cardholder is displayed at. 25 Anti-Passback Zones can be designated as anti-passback. Once a valid access is made, a cardholder must exit from an antipassback zone using their card. Option: Timed Antipassback. FT Series 5 Zone Count Zone count tells how many cardholders (people or vehicles) are in a zone. You can also define the minimum and maximum numbers of cardholders allowed in a zone.
