2 Properties Station layout Operating unit The operating unit was designed in accordance with Australian standards and contains the following components: CPU module and electronic components for operating unit Ethernet connection Slots for RS232 and RS485 modules and network modules (SAFEDLINK) Space for key switch (AU) Space for event printer (only in housings (Comfort) and (Large)) Periphery board with four integrated C-NET detector lines Two relay outputs for alarm and fault Four monitored outputs for alarm, fault, and horn Twelve configurable 24 V inputs / outputs Two slots for loop extension (C-NET) Card cage with slots for serial interfaces and max. 5 extra cards Line card (FDnet / C-NET) FCL2001-A1 (for additional lines) Line card (interactive), FCL2006-A1 Line card (interactive, Ex), FCL2007-A1 Line card (SynoLOOP), FCL7201-Z3 I/O card FCI2008-A1 (with 12 configurable inputs / outputs) I/O card (horn / monitored), FCI2009-A1 I/O card (RT) FCI2007-A1 Power supply (150 W), emergency power supply The power supply feeds the hardware and charges the batteries. In the event of a power cut, the batteries provide emergency current for a bridging time of up to 72 hours. Housing The housing provides space for additional fixtures on the U-rails and next to the periphery board. Extension Floor repeater displays, operating units, and alarm devices on the C-NET detector line Connection to the Siemens danger management system C-NET detector lines All C-NET detector lines are monitored for ground faults. Processes signals of the Cerberus PRO FD720 detector series 2

3 Functions Up to 2000 events can be called up for each station according to various criteria. The fire control panel can be configured with the Cerberus-Engineering-Tool FXS7212. Configuration of complex applications and controls Adaptation of customer texts on the terminal itself or using the Cerberus-Engineering- Tool Automatic summer / winter time changeover Stored data can be uploaded via remote access The firmware for all processor-controlled control panel components can be downloaded The control panel can be operated via an additional, separate fire terminal FT724. Processes signals from various devices such as: FD720 devices from the Cerberus PRO series, SynoLOOP, and interactive devices Mixed use of all line cards and I/O cards possible In the event of a defect, the line cards can be replaced without the control panel having to be powered down. 3

5 Networking of several fire control panels Up to 32 control panels and terminals can be connected to form a single cluster (C-WEB / SAFEDLINK network) or up to 16 stations if the cluster is connected to the Siemens danger management system. 5

6 Extended networking By using a fiber optic backbone (C-WEB / LAN), up to 14 clusters with up to 16 stations can be operated via the Ethernet switch (modular) in a homogeneous network (a maximum total of 64 stations).
