5 Communication technologies used by Delta Dore The advantages of Delta Dore bidirectional wireless technology X2D mono-directionnal radio technology X3D bi-directional radio technology Developed and patented by Delta Dore over 20 years ago, the X2D language is a communication protocol used for wireless, powerline carrier and BUS products. Delta Dore has chosen to use the 868 MHz frequency to exchange information between different applications in the home. One of the advantages of using the 868 MHz bandwidth is that it is regulated and, above all, standardized. This means it cannot be disrupted by other radio emitting electrical appliances (e.g.: wireless headset). X3D is the high-speed radio communication protocol developed by Delta Dore. It can be used, among other things, to control a series of networked motors. The built-in meshing function allows information received by one motor to be repeated to the next, thus extending the wireless range. The feedback function ensures that the roller shutters have successfully received a command and reached the desired position.
