2 STANDARD T6 (200 C) SENSOR CABLE RANGE for the Automotive Industry High-performance automotive wire In addition to TE Connectivity s (TE) custom design capability, for bespoke cable constructions tailored to specific customer applications, and the successful launch of TE s T4 (150 C) sensor cables, we have now added a standard range of T6 (200 C) sensor cable to our portfolio. TE Connectivity under the trademark Raychem can now introduce the aluminum foil shielded, with drainwire termination, 55E6 series and the unshielded 55E4 series to the market. Both cable families utilize TE s high-performance T6 automotive wire (55E0119). Designed with harsh under bonnet environments in mind, combining Raychem s material science and crosslinking expertise, we have produced a range of cost effective, high performance cables. Designed for demanding engine and drivetrain applications, these cables are leight-weight and offer excellent temperature resistance. The jacket materials have proven over-molding characteristics and bonds to industry standard molding materials. 55E0119 meets demanding 200 C primary wire specifications and is widely accepted by OEMs. 55E 4 & 6 series is designet to meet existing automotive environmental European legislation.
