2 Overview The Manheim Fire Department Responded to 336 Alarms during Firefighters responded and Spent firefighter hours in service at fire alarms. There was an average of 10 firefighters per fire alarm. The Manheim Fire Department spent a total of 227 hours in service at fire alarms. The average time in service per fire alarm was 40 minutes 708 firefighters spent 1678 firefighter hours in fire department training. 161 Members spent 430 hours in Fire Prevention and Public Service for the Community. 72 firefighters spent 300 hours on routine maintenance and repair of equipment. 2

11 Additional Comments The following is a list of various additional activities of the Manheim Fire Department in The Manheim Fire Department took part in the Farm Show Parade. Various fire prevention activities were performed for the Public as well as the local school system. 161 Members spent 430 hours in Fire Prevention and Public service for the Community. In early 2017 we received the Pennsylvania Volunteer Fire Company, Volunteer Ambulance Service Grant Program (VFCVASGP) grant which allowed us to purchase 6 new sets of Fire Gear.
