Gas Detection Tyco are a source of supply and technical support for a wide range of fixed and portable gas detectors including Crowcon, Drager, MSA and Scott Safety detectors. We provide both single gas and multi-gas monitors for personal monitoring and portable safety applications providing protection against a wide range of hazards. The units we supply detect the standard 4 gases; O2, H2S, CO and flammable and more hazardous gases including benzene and carbon dioxide. Our comprehensive range offers compact and rugged designs, high reliability and flexibility to adapt to specific use requirements. As an accredited distributor and service agent for Crowcon, a fleet of monitors and spare parts are available from our stock held in Aberdeen and Great Yarmouth. Our dedicated in-house repair workshop offers a service second to none, with fully trained and experienced personnel specialising in gas detection monitors and equipment.

3 Breathing Apparatus Where hazardous atmospheres exist Tyco can supply a variety of breathing apparatus solutions, from MSA, Drager and Scott Safety. SCBA A self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA), is a device worn by first responders, fire fighters, industrial workers and others to provide breathable air in environments that are dangerous to life. Tyco constantly work with reputable manufacturers to provide the highest standard and innovative technology, Airline An airline BA system is a respirator connected to a source of compressed breathing air (such as an air cart or stationary system) via a high-pressure hose. The air is delivered continously or intermittently in a sufficient volume to meet the wearer s breathing requirements. Air filter units and accessories are available. Escape Escape respirators are designed for use only to egress from hazardous atmospheres. Available in positive pressure and constant flow within 10 and 15 minute durations. Some escape respirators are used in conjunction with an airline system to provide a small source of air in emergencies where an airline air source is severed. Respiratory Protection Air purifying respirators provide protection when working in hazardous areas where dangerous gases and solid, liquid, radioactive and toxic particles exist. These use gas, particle or combination filters constructed of carbon or paper-based materials to remove contaminants or particles. Air purifying respirators that rely on the user s inhalation to draw the ambient air over the filters are referred to as negative pressure air purifying respirators. Those that utilise a blower to pull the ambient air through the filters and then push it to the user are called powered air purifying respirators. These products have numerous applications from construction and automotive repair to pharmaceutical and oil production processed. Chemical Re-breathers The chemical oxygen self-rescuer is a self-contained respiratory escape device. It is ideal for all escape applications wherever toxic gases, particles or oxygen deficiency exists. Individual customer requirements are met through tailored service agreements.

4 Height Safety At Tyco, we are able to meet your full confined space entry needs by offering a range of height safety products such as tripods and davits, winches, fall arrest equipment including harnesses, lanyards andself-retracting lifelines. We are able to offer the highest quality products from leading manufacturers such as Petzl, Sala, RidgeGear and many more. Foam Regardless of your application, Tyco can provide the right product when it comes to fire fighting foam, extinguishing equipment or systems. Platinum Fire Fighting Foam from Tyco is used in Oil & Gas, Industrial, Aviation, Military, Marine and Fire Suppression Systems industry wide. We offer a full range of high quality fire fighting foam of both synthetic and protein base including alcohol resistant and training foam. Platinum Fire Fighting Foam from Tyco is available with a range of approvals including UL, EN, ICAO, FM, UK-DEF and IMO Solas. Personal Protective Equipment We offer a full scope of PPE including safety footwear, hard hats, high visability waistcoats, goggles, life jackets, respirators and safety harnesses. These items can all be produced displaying your company logo. Lifejackets We can offer a wide range of lifejackets and immersion suits from market leading manufacturers. In addition to offering buoyancy aids at competirive prices, we are also able to service them both on land and offshore. Anti-slip Tyco are an approved distributor for SAFEGUARD Technology Anti-slip covers who offer a superior alternative to temporary coatings and tapes. Designed with a long-lasting, agressive grit surface, these products are proven to provide anti-slip protection in a variety of environments. We can supply extinguishers to meet all your requirements, from small 2kg extinguishers for use in lorries and on small vessels with limited space, to 135ltr trolleys, designed to extinguish fires on offshore helidecks. All extinguishers we supply are manufactured to the highest UK standards and approved and verified to BSEN3, ensuring they can be used extensively in the offshore, gas and petrochemical industries.

5 Hire We appreciate that the hire of specialist equipment provides a viable option for many customers. With a hire option on most of our common equipment, we give you the option to hire rather than buy. In addition to our extensive hire fleet, we can offer familiarisation training on how to use the equipment safely and correctly. Breathing Apparatus SCBA sets, escape sets, airline trolleys, airline filter units, compressors and breathing air cylinders. Gas Detection Personal gas monitors, portable gas detectors, infra-red detectors, benzene detectors. Height Safety Tripod, winch, fall arrest, lanyard, harness. Service & Maintenance Tyco provide life cycle maintenance for the majority of fixed and portable gas detection and personal fire fighting equipment on an offshore asset. This ensures that the life saving equipment is in the best possible operating condition at all times meeting all statutory and regulatory requirements. So that there is minimum disruption, Tyco are able to maintain the following fire safety equipment whilst offshore: Breathing apparatus Gas detection Fire extinguishers Lifejackets Hoses Hydrants Our extremely competent and experienced technicians service the equipment offshore, supported by our onshore workshop and technical support. In addition, we track and manage the maintenance record via our integrated business management database. The service can operate as a fully managed fixed price contract or an adhoc basis.
