9 VICPOLE PAINT SYSTEM Vicpole applies a comprehensive coating system to all poles that ensures the product can withstand the rigours of time and complies with Australian Standard AS2312. Finished in Dulux Acrathane, a protective coating with toughness to resist abuse, it doesn t suffer the chalking and fading that affects many paints and powder coat systems. After fabrication, the entire pole is hot dip galvanised to AS4680, which coats the pole with a protective layer of zinc. Vicpole then hand linishes the whole pole to remove blemishes and zinc build-ups that would mar the paint finish appearance. Apart from creating a smooth surface, the linishing process abrades the pole surface which ensures optimum paint adhesion. After Cleaning and degreasing, Vicpole sprays the pole all over with Dulux Ultra-Etch Primer, providing a premium base for the top coat application. The top coat is Dulux Acrathane, which is a 2-pack, high gloss, acrylic. Fully cured, it offers high resistance to abrasion, weathering, graffiti, and is available in a large range of colours. PS POLE SERIES The Cree brand of steel poles provide outstanding strength and reliability with great value.
