3 Applications Our Facilities NAF S 125 and NAF S 227 fire extinguishing systems are recommended for facilities and areas that have a high fire risk, include high value property and have a high cost of downtime. Both NAF S 125 and NAF S 227 are non-conductive, non-corrosive and approved for use in occupied spaces by the US EPA. Neither agent will harm sensitive electronics or equipment nor do they have a post discharge residue to clean up. Our systems are custom designed for each application, ensuring the most effective and efficient fire protection possible for your specific facility. Typical applications include: Telecommunication facilities Substations Control rooms Machinery spaces Computer rooms Archives Laboratories Turbines Museums Our commercial and administration Office is in Formello (15 km outside of Rome) and our production plant is located in Avezzano, 120 km east of Rome. At the production facility we manufacture UL Recognized and US EPA Approved clean agents as well as UL Listed, UR Recognized and LPCB EN Approved system components, such as valves, hoses, actuators and nozzles. We maintain ISO 9001 certification and are audited by UL (UL Approved Manufacturing Location) and LPCB (Factory Production Control) which assures the highest possible level of quality and reliability. The Safety Hi-Tech production facility in Avezzano is an authorized Halon/HCFC/ HFC reclaiming and recycling center with status of the art equipment. Avezzano is also an advanced fire test center where the performance of our clean agents and systems are tested and certified. Our test facilities include enclosures for testing the efficacy of Clean Agents on different fuels, system nozzle coverage limitations, the accuracy of design flow calculation programs in addition to an ISO cup burner.
4 NAF S 125 and NAF S 227 Fire Suppression Systems NAF S 125 and NAF S 227 are patented total flooding agents, both of which are approved for use in normally occupied spaces by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA) and included in the US EPA SNAP list. In addition to their core components (HFC-125 and HFC-227ea respectively) our NAF S 125 and NAF S 227 agents include a patented additive that both reduces the products of combustion as well as improves the fire extinguishing performance, which leads to a higher system safety factor. The systems are designed with maximum quality, reliability and are tested and approved by internationally recognized testing laboratories such as: Underwriters Laboratories (UL 2166) and Loss Prevention Certification Board (EN12094, CE Mark). 5 Release and Detection an Integrated Solution. As critical as the fire extinguishment systems, are the fire detection and release systems that determines a problem exists and operates the system itself. At Safety Hi-Tech we believe that providing an integrated fire protection system is critical and our fire extinguishing systems have been fully tested for compatibility with our fire detection products to provide you with maximum peace of mind. Our detection systems include both single zone and multi zone panels and a comprehensive range of smoke detectors and ancillary products.
