On this page are all of the people who make it happen every day! They represent over 400 years of turfgrass experience. You will not find a more knowledgeable Team of Turf Professionals anywhere! THE TISCHER FAMILY Randy, Beth, Melissa and Mary Tischer Together, Randy and Beth lead the Green Velvet Turf Team! Founded in 1959 by Randy s father and mother, Ray and Mary, Green Velvet today grows over 600 acres of sod and distributes turf and ornamental products throughout Ohio! VICE PRESIDENT- OPERATIONS Larry Coriell Larry s 30 years of experience here at Green Velvet allow him to understand the needs of our customers. Larry s focus today is in purchasing and product selection, as well as working directly with our sales force. FARM MANAGER SNIDER ROAD Mike Blair Mike is in charge of our 650 acre sod production farm. With over 37 years of experience growing turfgrass, Mike knows how to provide the best quality sod in Ohio for our customers! With over 14 years of experience providing solutions to turf professionals, Eric is a wealth of information and a real asset to his customers. Chris Noble As the newest addition to our Sales Team, Chris joined us in 2012 as a Technical Sales Representative for Central Ohio. He has served for 10 years as Assistant Superintendent to several golf courses throughout Ohio. 3 Meet the Green Velvet Team SCHEDULING & INSIDE SALES Mike Spicer Mike has been with Green Velvet for 8 years now. He works at the main office in Bellbrook and is most likely the voice you hear answering each call with your turf questions, orders and delivery scheduling. SOD PRODUCTION Steve Bracken Steve has been with Green Velvet for over 6 years. He is heavily involved with sod production from planting to harvesting our Bluegrass and Tall Fescue Sod. SOD PRODUCTION Mark Gilbert Mark has been in turfgrass for the better part of his life. He brings over 39 years of experience to Green Velvet. Today Mark does it all, including tillage, harvesting and maintenance at our Snider Road farm. SOD PRODUCTION Tim D Aurora Tim works at our Snider Road farm and operates our big roll harvester, as well as mowing with our big 36 rotary mower. He s kept our grass green for over 13 years. Rob has been with Green Velvet for over 14 years. Jason Malloris Jason has been involved with Turf Production for over 8 years. A certified welder, Jason is involved with all aspects of Turf Production and Maintenance at our Snider Road farm. Randy Cooke Randy brings with him over 24 years of experience in turfgrass sales, production, and marketing. He has proven his skills in almost every aspect of our growing business. This is a 24% annual charge. Terms are pre-pay where credit has not been established. A $20.00 service fee is charged for any returned checks. Any account with a past due balance of more than 60 days will not receive additional shipments until the account is brought back into good standing. Credit Hold Policy: For Customers who have existing credit with Green Velvet: Once an account balance reaches an overdue status of 60 days, the account will be placed on credit hold until payment in full is made. No orders will be delivered without an approved payment plan, pre-payment with credit card, certified check, bank wire or transfer for full amount of order. The account will remain on credit hold until account is current. Prices: Prices are not provided in this handbook. Prices are quoted by the Sales Representative assigned to each account according to market prices and volume. Returned Goods Policy: Merchandise may be returned only with prior authorization by Green Velvet and due to incorrect shipments or damaged goods. All returns must be approved for return for credit within 30 days of receipt and are subject to a 10% restocking fee. Transportation or postage charges shall be paid by the customer. Invoice number and date of purchase is required for any/all returns. Custom and special order products cannot be returned for any reason other than quality related issues. No credit will be issued on broken cases or partially filled containers. Backorder Policy: Backorders will be automatically written as reorders for later delivery.
