2 ROSELETS A Bouquet of Tissue Culture Roses AgriForest is pleased to offer a broad selection of tissue culture Roses. Roselets are unique in their ability to survive harsh winter conditions. Also, Roselets are true to type from the roots to the blossom, and all new growth, including suckers, will reproduce the original rose. Experience the AgriForest difference! PARKLAND SERIES ADELAIDE HOODLESS An extremely floriferous and vigorous shrub rose. Produces large clusters of 4", semidouble, red blooms in July and September. Reaches 3' with arching stems. Zone 3. CUTHBERT GRANT An upright-growing shrub with large, dark red, velvety flowers. Flowers have a strong fragrance and are semi-double. Produces flowers in June and September and grow to 3' high. Zone 3. HOPE FOR HUMANITY A low growing, ever-blooming rose. Has open habit and averages 1.5' in height. Double, 5" deep red flowers bloom from late June onwards. Zone 3. MORDEN BLUSH A hardy, low-growing, ever-blooming shrub. Tolerates high summer temperatures exceedingly well. Grows to 3' and flower continuously from June to freeze-up. Flowers are light pink in cool temperatures and ivory white in hot temperatures. Zone 3. 2
3 MORDEN CENTENNIAL A hardy, floriferous shrub rose that flowers repeatedly throughout the season with main flushes in June and August. Reaches height of 3' and bears lightly scented, medium pink 4" blooms. Zone 3. MORDEN SNOW BEAUTY A lovely, white-flowering hardy shrub rose that reaches 3.5'. Blooms all season long, with white pointed buds in clusters of Zone 3. MORDEN SUNRISE A hardy shrub rose with unique, copper-toned, yellow flowers that fade to peach colour, giving a bi-coloured effect. Compact growth habit reaching 2.5'. Zone 3. WINNIPEG PARKS A hardy re-current blooming shrub suitable for use as a bedding landscape rose or specimen plant. Dense bush that reach 1.75'. Flowers are slightly fragrant and are medium red in colour. Zone 3. EXPLORER SERIES ALEXANDER MACKENZIE A tall, upright, vigorous shrub. Deep red, cup-shaped flowers are produced in clusters of 6-12, with an average diameter of 4". Flowers closely resemble those of Grandiflora or Hybrid Tea Rose, but have the distinct advantage of being much hardier. Reaches height of 6'. Zone 3. 3
4 CAPTAIN SAMUEL HOLLAND A winter-hardy pillar-type rose with a trailing growth habit and branches that grow to 6'. Medium red flowers average 4" and are produced in clusters of Zone 3. CHAMPLAIN A hardy rose that is outstanding for its free and continuous flowering habit throughout summer and fall. Flowers are a velvety dark red and are 4" across. Reaches a height of 3'. Zone 3. DE MONTARVILLE A shrub with an upright type growth habit and reaches 3' in height. Superior in floral production, flowering repeatedly from June to September. Dark red, unopened bud changes to medium pink at blossom and fades to mottled pink when fully open. Flowers average 4" and are borne in clusters of 1-4. Zone 3. FRONTENAC An extremely floriferous, winter-hardy shrub with an upright growth habit of about 1m. Deep pink flowers produced in clusters of 8 are 5" in diameter. Blooms begin in June and continue to end of September. Zone 4. GEORGE VANCOUVER An upright shrub type growth habit that reaches 3' in height. Deep-red unopened bud changes to medium red at blossom and fades to pink when fully open. Flowers average 3" and are borne in clusters of 1-6. Blooms repeatedly from June to September. Zone 4. 4
5 HENRY KELSEY A hardy climbing rose which flowers freely and repeatedly. Trailing growth habit that reaches 6'. Flowers are medium red, with a spicy fragrance, are 5" across, and are produced in clusters of Zone 3. JOHN CABOT A climbing rose that has strong arching canes of 9' and blooms freely in June and July, and sporadically in August and September. Fragrant flowers are medium red and 4" across. Zone 3. JOHN DAVIS A very winter-hardy plant with a trailing growth habit and branches that reach 7'. Medium pink flowers have a light spicy perfume and a diameter of 6". Zone 3. JOHN FRANKLIN A hardy and vigorous shrub that reaches a height of 3'. Flowers freely throughout the summer. Medium red, slightly fragrant flowers are 2.5" across and occur in clusters of up to 30. Zone 3. LAMBERT CLOSSE A winter-hardy shrub with an upright bush type growth that reaches 3'. Deep pink Hybrid Tea-like buds change to medium pink at blossom and then fade to pale pink when fully open. Flowers are 5" in diameter and are produced from June to September. Zone 4. 5
6 LOUIS JOLLIET A climbing rose with a trailing growth habit that reaches 3'. Flowers continuously from June to end of September. Medium pink flowers are 4" in diameter and have a spicy fragrance. Zone 4. MARIE VICTORIN A hardy shrub rose that reaches height of 5'. Flowers abundantly and freely. Unopened bud is peach colour that changes to pale peach and blossom and fades to pink when fully opened. Flowers are 5" in diameter. Zone 3. MARTIN FROBISHER A vigorous, well-proportioned plant that reaches height of 6'. Flowers are soft pink and fragrant, measure 3" across, and are produced freely throughout summer. Zone 3. NICOLAS A winter-hardy shrub rose that has a compact growth habit that reaches 3' in height. Produces medium red flowers that are 3" across from June to September. Zone 3. QUADRA A climbing rose that has a spreading type growth habit and reaches 3'. Has manypetalled deep red flowers that are 5" in diameter. Zone 3. 6
7 ROYAL EDWARD A semi-miniature low spreading rose that reaches a height of 1.5'. Flowers repeatedly from June to September. Deep pink at budding, medium pink at blossom, and pale pink when fully open. Zone 3. SIMON FRASER A winter-hardy, low shrub rose with an upright growth habit that reaches 1.5'. Medium pink flowers with an average diameter of 3" are produced from June until end of September. Zone 3. WILLIAM BAFFIN A hardy climbing rose that has strong arching canes reaching 9'. Flowers are medium red and slightly fragrant and are produced repeatedly throughout summer. Zone 3. WILLIAM BOOTH A winter-hardy shrub rose that has a spreading to trailing growth habit and reaches height of 5'. Flowers repeatedly from June to September. Deep red buds change to medium red at blossom and fade to light red when fully open. Zone 3. 7
8 OTHER HARDY ROSES BONICA A shrub of distinguished beauty and hardiness. Reaches 5' and produces a mass of pink, 3" flowers from June to September. Zone 4. J. P. CONNELL A vigorous, upright shrub that reaches 6'. Initially, the lemon yellow flowers have high centres resembling those of a Hybrid Tea but later open to expose stamens and then fade to a cream colour. Flowers have diameter of 5" and are produced singly or in clusters of 3-8. Blooms begin in June and continue for the rest of the season. Zone 3. NEARLY WILD A hardy, bushy, attractive shrub rose that reaches 3'. Produces pink, fragrant, large flowers throughout summer. Zone 4. PRAIRIE JOY A hedge rose that is dense, and has good foliage. Grows to 4' and has an arching form. Medium pink, 4" flowers are mainly produced in June. Zone 2. 8
