26 Redditch Eastern Gateway
27 Redditch Eastern Gateway Funding for the initial infrastructure to unlock the site agreed. This is being provided via Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership. The plan opposite identifies the initial indicative access arrangements
28 Redditch Eastern Gateway The Redditch Eastern Gateway site comprises almost 29 ha (71 acres) of land on the north eastern perimeter of Redditch across three sites. The sites, which lie within the adjoining local authority areas of Bromsgrove and Stratford-on-Avon, represent a strategic opportunity to create a high quality new employment location. The site: Has the potential for c.1 million sqft of new B use class employment space and 1,500+ new jobs; Is in a fantastic location, in close proximity to the Motorway Network and located strategically to take advantage of the development proposed at UK-Central in Solihull;
29 Redditch Eastern Gateway Redditch Eastern Gateway Highlights Redditch is a well established and popular employment location benefitting from close proximity to the motorway network; The current employment stock is mainly older estates which are constrained and the REG provides potential to offer a grow on space for existing businesses; Furthermore, improvements in the economic conditions means the opportunities to locate elsewhere in the region are reducing and therefore REG can plug the gap ; There is a lack of new or good quality second hand accommodation within close proximity to the site; Overall it is considered that REG offers an opportunity to provide a new pipeline of sites to cater for the short-medium term.
