The relocation of the plumbing and heating trade counter to the main building has also brought together a team of experts to one combined location aimed at offering the renowned Haldane Fisher service to both the public and the trade. Previously we were located away from the main building, so this brings us closer to the flow of customers coming into the branch. In the past the plumbing and heating department in Newry was best known for its direct-to-site delivery services, but with installers shopping around for the best prices in domestic and commercial products the company is experiencing an increase in footfall into the branch. The fact that our delivery service direct to site was so popular speaks volumes about the success of our plumbing and heating service, added Damian. That is still very much in place, but our drive now is to match this with customers actually coming into the trade counter. This latest move will make that a lot easier. Successful open night sets the tone The success of Haldane Fisher s open night to mark the revamped plumbing and heating trade counter got the new look facilities off to the best possible start. A range of manufacturers supported the event to mark the opening of the new plumbing and heating department followed by a range of promotions and prize giveaways in the following week.
