2 Beautiful perception. The most eye-catching element of the furniture presented by Team by Wellis has always been a dynamic appearance the room was the original basis of the design, developed by the company which was established in 1927 and which started life as an organ-building business. A considerable level of responsibility is required when developing a complete collection for an established Swiss interpreted by Kurt Erni, is largely based on what has been perceived as Swiss design over the last decades. For this reason, a designer was needed for the new collection who would be able to provide a sensitive, contemporary look and feel that was based on this legacy. The designer This Weber was chosen because he has proven to be successful with almost every type of furniture he has designed over the past 15 years. Since by no means all residents of Switzerland live in lofts and villas, This Weber has based his work on a pattern. Thanks to this architectural approach, all furniture both large and small is well-designed and perfectly proportioned in each format and shape. The following pages illustrate the various furniture models, all of which are based on traditional requirements, yet without being bulky. This Weber has given his designs a reduced, even slim-line appearance. His designs include a variety of colours which allow a personal touch. Combined with your favourite pieces, the new collection from Team by Wellis presents a comfortable and functional setting for your life. When creating this range of designs, Weber focused on well-balanced proportions. These are aligned mainly to people rather than to space. This may well be the reason why the sofa resembles the Golden Age of Scandi- slightly, which ensures a light and playful appearance. The height of the seat is practical and it is easy for the individual to stand up. This short precious time of the day should be both a joy to see, and relaxing for the body and mind. Cold surfaces and sharp edges have no place in this context. For this reason, the designer, This Weber, has created comfortable chair designs, available in leather and a variety of colours, since a personal interpretation enhances an intimate living experience. The wooden frames of the chairs are invitingly curved, contributing to the character of the entire collection. Well-illustrated here are: the exciting contrast between the round shaping of the chairs and the straight lines of the sideboards, perfectly emphasised by the joints. The open-compartment elements, in which important items can be stored and be easilyaccessible, are available in a newlydesigned, modern colour scale, available for all laquered furniture. 8 Team by Wellis the new collection. 9
