1 American dream Interior designer Raffaella Bortoluzzi live in New York's "Little Italy" and Chinatown middle ground. Her apartment interiors eclectic, modern modern yet eclectic, like a microcosm of the American dream. Raffaella designed kitchen plated black metal, look elegant and generous. At the center of the dining table stood a Strut (by BluDot), surrounded by Eero Saarinen placed in the hands of a few retro Conference Chair (by Knoll). The right is Marcel Breuer bench, draped with Technogel gel pad produced. New York is a city of endless, people flock here from all over the world to find their own American dream. Early 19th century, after the first immigrants came here, naturally each build a community. Slowly, the community and the formation of a number of neighborhoods, of which the two most famous is the "Little 1/8

Raffaella Bortoluzzi Choose a home in such a multicultural environment intertwined. As Labodesignstudio soul, the Italian born architect and designer he has been living for 22 years in New York. After she completed her birthplace Venetian architecture school, came to New York, the initial aim is to obtain a master's degree from Columbia University, who knows this take root in the city. "When I found this plant, it is a piece of virgin land, exudes an industrial atmosphere of crude, waiting for artists to reclaim." Raffaella explains, "So, my challenge is to transform it into my own home. "The whole building room contains a large number of typical New York LOFT style details, such as the building exterior safety stairs, inside a pile of brick walls. "I am very attached to the house to make its own characteristics to show up, so I kept the wall as it is, and to do open wire line pipe handling." 3/8

On the left is a light like lamp (by Rich Brilliant Willing), at the foot of the lamp is another light Castiglioni brothers designed Taccia lamp (by Flos). The right is Lumenform retro floor lamp (1970), as well as a Domingo Milella's photography. Whether it is to design high end customers or for their own housing, Raffaella always use the same approach: "I always try to understand the design of the house itself I have to contrast the characteristics of the house itself as the center, and to accomplish this by means of furniture.." She ordered a set of kitchen facilities, stove and the outer door of the closet in the room as the New York home, black plated steel manufacturing. Industrial flavor of this material highlights the sense of history of the house, and witnessed between Raffaella and her long time for some of the materials used by customizing the project to establish deep feelings. 4/8
