1 Press Information AXOR is the official partner for bathroom fixtures of the Design Hotels brand AXOR x Design Hotels Bring Together 25 Years of Design Excellence and Architectural Competence Schiltach, October As of October, AXOR, the design brand of the Hansgrohe Group, will be the official partner of Design Hotels. This partnership enables member properties of the Design Hotels community to take advantage of recommendations for bathroom interior design provided by their marketing platform. With this step, the two companies will merge their 25-year histories of pioneering and marketing unique design objects, and promoting architecturally sophisticated, privately owned hotels. From Hong Kong to Mexico, AXOR taps, showerheads and accessories are regularly featured in Design Hotels member properties; for example, in the Hotel Liberty, a former prison in Offenburg/Germany, the Les Bains in Paris, or the Chetzeron in Crans-Montana, Switzerland. The ambitious standards set by both brands for their products and their member properties rely on integrated design concepts and the ongoing commitment of their creative partners. The two brands will be present together for the first time at the Design Hotels arena* in Copenhagen from October Years of Personalised Bathroom Design AXOR s current product portfolio consists of around 2,000 products, all unique in their philosophy, their formation, and their style. 5 AXOR Starck V The ultimate AXOR tap, the AXOR Starck V, sparkles with a removable swivel spout made of organic crystal glass or porcelain. In 2015, new elegant cut glass versions were introduced that allow the spout to be easily exchanged. AXOR Montreux Inspired by the archetypal design of the first industrially manufactured bathroom and kitchen taps, additive shapes and charming stylistic details are the hallmarks of the entire AXOR Montreux collection. Features of industrial design such as pipes and valves are combined with classic cross handles and porcelain inlays, and with modern lever handles. Claus Sendlinger Copyright: Design Hotels AG Claus Sendlinger began his career in the travel industry in 1987 with the founding of an agency specializing in sport and music events. Only four years later Travel Trends, a tour organizer for highend, authentic travel experiences, followed. In 1993 in Sausalito, California Sendlinger established Design Hotels Inc., a small hotel cooperation with 10 iconic members focused on communications strategies that went beyond traditional tourism marketing. With the growth of its worldwide creative network, lebensart global networks AG was born in Augsburg, Germany in 1998 and went public in In 2003, the company was renamed Design Hotels AG and in 2004 the headquarters was moved to Berlin. In November 2012, Sendlinger was honored at the European Hotel Design Awards for outstanding contributions to the industry.
