We choose to work with this material because it won t warp or split and can be made to look like timber but with none of the disadvantages. GRP composite is robust and delivers the same aesthetic appeal as timber. Why use anything else? IG was founded in South Wales in 1958 and composite door production began in 1979, since then we have been supplying an extensive range of high performance external door sets from our manufacturing facility in Cwmbran. With a turnover in excess of 25m, we employ over 180 people and are one of the largest manufacturers of composite doors in the UK, producing in excess of 2000 sets per week. Ongoing investment in our manufacturing processes will continue to spearhead our growth.
