2 ANNOUNCEMENT Entrematic is proud to announce our new Rolling Door Parts Program. Entrematic is now a Cornell Ironworks (CIW) Service Star Dealer with the ability to provide a wide range of rolling door parts to the commercial/industrial door industry in Western Canada. Stocked are many of the typical parts required to repair the Cornell/ Cookson line of rolling doors and grilles. CIW has developed a line of replacement slats compatible with a many other brands of rolling doors present in our marketplace and a universal slat adapter that will interconnect any brand of slat. A list of stocked parts and part numbers is included in this promotional package. Typically stocked parts: Flat and curved slats Insulated and non-insulated slats End-locks and wind-locks Universal slat adapter Grille rod, links and splice tube repair kits Bottom bars and slide locks Fusible links and Fire Door Rigging Assembly hardware Bearings, spring plugs and shaft plugs Slats are available loose, and are cut to order. REPLACEMENT SLATS NOW AVAILABLE Entrematic is pleased to announce an expanded replacement slat offering to help support your service business. We are now offering a curved 3 slat, as well as a slat that is compatible with the Overhead Door F-265 slat. Both slats are available cut to order and can be assembled upon request. These slats are compatible with a wide range of rolling door brands. Details are found on the attached slat compatibility chart. These slats are available for service and repair applications only. Complete doors are not available. Details: Slats come in 20Ga. galvanized steel and are supplied with a primed gray finish. End-locks, wind-locks, and bottom bars are also available. Please note that end-locks and wind-locks on curved slats need to be specified left hand or right hand - this is unique to the curved slat. 5 SLAT COMPATIBILITY INFORMATION We have had some recent discoveries in reference to slat compatibility with our products and others.. *Old Janus/New CHI Slats: Both the non-insulated and insulated slats manufactured by Janus were copies of the OHD F-265 (service) and OHD F-265I (insulated) slats.. And with the acquisition of the Janus manufacturing assets by CHI, the new CHI slats are OHD F-265/F-265I copies as well. What this means is that our now available BRD OHD (F-265) slats are compatible for these service applications. **Additionally we have found that Cornell s Thermiser insulated slats are functionally compatible with OHD F-265I/Old Janus/New CHI Insulated slats** Cornell s Thermiser insulated slats can be directly used for service repair/replacement in these applications. *Cornell s Aluminum Extruded Insulated Bottom Bar is compatible for use with Cookson insulated doors. Cookson s double angle bottom bar can be replaced with a Cornell Aluminum extruded version should the application arise. Some of the benefits of the Cornell aluminum insulated bottom bar; the bottom bar profile mates with the curtain face slat extending insulation all the way to the floor, the bulb style astragal allows for quicker weather seal replacement and the aluminum construction is corrosion resistant. Our curved 2 slat is widely compatible with the popular brands of rolling service doors in our market. Slats are available cut to order and can be assembled upon request. Details: Slats come in 20Ga. galvanized steel and are supplied unpainted with a plain galvanized finish. End-locks, wind-locks, and bottom bars are also available. 8 UNIVERSAL SLAT ADAPTOR NOW AVAILABLE Cornell Iron Works is pleased to announce a new addition to our parts offering to help support your service business on competitive products. We now offer a Universal Slat Adaptor that allows retro fit slat replacement on other manufacturer s doors. The Universal Slat Adaptor will allow our Cornell brand and new OHD replacement slats to link up with a wide variety of competitor slats. Each Universal Slat Adaptor (USA) is constructed of 14Ga. Extruded Aluminum in a clear anodized finish. The USA is sold in 21 lengths, shipped in three 7 pieces or cut to length. Please note these Universal Slat Adaptor restrictions: Use only on interior mounted doors Replacement slats must be attached below the USA Cannot be used on doors with windlocks Cannot be used on fire rated doors or with insulated slats The Universal Slat Adaptor and OHD slats are available directly through your Entrematic Service Representative.
