1 24 HOUR RENOVATION WITH COLIN & JUSTIN: THE ALPHONSE FAMILY The Alphonse family moved into George s parents home in order to care for them in their old age, however after their deaths in 2009 and 2012, the family still haven t made any changes to the outdated décor of their huge house. Put simply, they re overwhelmed by the sheer task of updating the vintage décor and have become paralyzed through indecision, and so this young family are living their modern lives in a crumbling old house that s more a museum for wallpaper and European design than a vibrant and functional home that s reflective of their generation. Can Colin & Justin rescue them from a life trapped in the past and bring them back into the 21 st Century while tastefully maintaining some of the home s original character without going overboard?
