7 17 Donna Partha Animation Film BDES Silver- DigiCon6 ASIA Awards Mr.Sekhar Mukherjee NEXT GEN: Thanks for Visiting - Dinesh Ram, National Institute of, India.Synopsis:A bear cub on the cusp of adulthood finds himself in a zoo. Torn from his familiar haunts in the woods and separated from his mother, the bear is now caged forever. Listless and dull, the bear whiles away his days within the confines of steel bars. His bored existence comes to an abrupt halt one day when Providence proffers him a chance for escape. Does he find his way back home? The film is intended to be construed as a perspective other than ours and aims to shed light on the topic of human encroachment. It provokes the audience to reflect on the price we don t pay for our comfort. To justify the theme, the film employs a fairly experimental form of narration juxtaposing two time periods before and after human encroachment. The film compares Indians to apes, having the characteristic of copying without thinking. The protagonist of the film chooses to follow the West in every scenario. The concept of an Ape-meter has also been introduced, which measures the ape-ness of a person based on their behavioural choices. It has added humor and exaggerated sarcasm to talk about the vainness of our choices and further underlines how the Indian ways are not considered cool anymore. With a potential to bring into use a huge amount of global waste and to help initiate a unique craft-based enterprise, Vallet, in turn, is a step in my pursuit of doing meaningful work in this world. Date: 12th to 16th June The certificate was given on behalf of the International program committee Anna Puig and Tobias Isenberg (Poster Co-chair). For the poster her guides were Chakradhar Saswade and Dr. Aneesha Sharma. Project Description: While exploring on the topics which have been seen as the social stigma, for example, depression, I stumbled upon this club which consists of musicians and artists who died at the age of 27. This unique age captured my attention and I started exploring more on the topic. The 27 Club is a term that refers to a number of popular musicians who died at age 27, often as a result of drug and alcohol abuse, or violent means such as homicide or suicide. The number of musicians who have died at this age and the circumstances of many of those deaths has given rise to the idea that premature deaths at this age are unusually common. There have been many different speculations about the causes of such early deaths and their possible connections. Although humans die regularly at all ages, there is a statistical spike for musicians who die at 27. She also believes that she too, like Pottan, can do just anything. While her mother gives her dreams their wings, over a period of time Ponnu finds herself in the midst of a conflict of culture. She realizes that the society she lives in treats girls as the inferior sex and denies them any kind of freedom. She does not know whether she should live by the stories and ideals her mother has taught her or the norms of society.
