A Community-Based Planning Document Guiding the Future Called for in the LUCE (2010) 2 years of input from hundreds of Santa Monicans Recommends changes for a pedestrian-oriented and sustainable neighborhood Addresses community concerns with and around the Plan area Preserves existing neighborhoods and protects from impacts of new development Expands the role of cultural arts and creative industries new local jobs and skills training opportunities 2
