5 FY2016 Street & Infrastructure Construction $4,200,000 THE CONSTRUCTION WILL BE SPLIT INTO TWO LETTINGS TO OBTAIN BEST PRICING. Part 1 includes Ambria Subdivision and portions of the Cambridge Country Subdivision. Planned improvements in these areas will be curb and gutter repair and pavement mill, patch and overlay. Part 2 is Carlyle Park Walnut Street and Clearbrook Park Subdivisions. Planned improvements include pavement reconstruction, drainage enhancements, watermain replacement (including a segment along Lake Street) and sanitary sewer replacement. FY2016 Projects
6 FY2016 Pavement Preservation Program $150, THE PRESERVATION AREAS MAY BE INCLUDED IN THE ANNUAL STREET PROJECT TO OBTAIN BEST PRICING. This annual program has been established in order to make repairs to streets that are not part of the annual street improvement project. The service life of the selected streets will be extended by grinding off the existing surface and replacing it with new asphalt. The FY2016 program will include: Jeannette Place (176 Charlotte) Courtland (Seymour Hawthorne) Orchard St. (Shaddle Washington) Shaddle (McKinley Dean) FY2016 Projects
7 FY2016 IL 176/60/83/Schank $5,000, In collaboration with the Illinois Department of Transportation the IL 176/60/83 intersection will be widened to accommodate turn lanes. Planned work generally includes pavement widening, milling and resurfacing the existing pavement, select curb and gutter installation, minor storm sewer and drainage improvements, traffic signal modernization and interconnect modifications, and site restoration. FY2016 Projects
8 FY2016 Hawley Street Construction $2,100, (Village Share) In collaboration with the Lake County Department of Transportation, Hawley Street will undergo a complete reconstruction between Midlothian Road and Seymour Avenue. A new traffic signal system will be installed at the California Avenue intersection and the existing signals at Seymour Avenue will be modernized. New water and sewer infrastructure is also part of the project along with the complete reconstruction of Hawley Court. FY2016 Projects
9 FY2016 Diamond Lake Lake Street Sanitary Sewer Project $800, New sanitary sewer infrastructure will replace and relocate critical sewer lines that have deteriorated beyond repair and are prone to surcharge. A $85,000 CDBG grant will be utilized for project funding. FY2016 Projects
10 FY2016 IDCEO Traffic Signal at Community Park Entrance $333, Under a $350,000 Illinois Department of Commerce & Economic Opportunity grant, a new traffic signal system will be installed at the Midlothian Road entrance to Mundelein Park & recreation District s Keith Mione (Community) Park. FY2016 Projects
11 FY2016 Safe Routes to School Improvements $225, Under a $250,000 Safe Routes to School grant, sidewalk improvements will be made at Carl Sandburg Middle School as well as the Washington Early Learning Center. In addition, several gap areas in the public sidewalk will be filled including: Greenview at Crystal Intersection Emerald at Courtland Intersection Woodlawn between Prairie and Garfield Lincoln between Lakeview and Northshore FY2016 Projects
12 FY2016 Midlothian Road Multi Use Path Design $26, The design of a multi use path along Midlothian Road between Hawley Street and IL 60/83. This path will connect the existing sidewalk system with Lake County s Prairie and Millennium Paths. A CMAQ/TAP grant application has been submitted and Phase 1 engineering is underway. FY2016 Projects
13 FY2016 Allanson Road Washington Blvd. Signal System Upgrade $165, The Allanson Road Washington Blvd. traffic signal system has reached the end of its service life, replacement parts are no longer supported by the manufacturer and therefore planned equipment upgrades are proposed. FY2016 Projects
14 FY2016 McKinley Ave. Pedestrian Overpass Design $400, The design of a grade separated overpass of the CN Railroad tracks connecting the Cardinal Square Development to the Metra Commuter Rail Depot and downtown businesses is planned. Federal grants including CMAQ/TAP will be applied for to provide funding. The Illinois Commerce Commission s 5 Year Crossing Safety Improvement Program includes $2,000,000 in assistance. FY2016 Projects
15 FY2016 FY2017 Street & Infrastructure Design $125, The design of the FY17 street and infrastructure improvements will plan for the reconstruction of additional Loch Lomond area streets together with the installation of curb, storm sewer and the replacement of water and sewer mains. This will be paired with the concrete street rehabilitation of Huntington Drive. The full scope of the Loch Lomond portion of the project will be determined prior to awarding design services. FY2016 Projects
16 FY2016 Loch Lomond Storm Sewer Outfall Improvements $130, Select storm outfalls to Loch Lomond will be repaired/replaced. FY2016 Projects
17 FY2016 North Hills Subdivision Water Main Replacement Design $65, The Village maintains the water and sewer mains in the unincorporated North Hills Subdivision. The water main is deteriorating and the replacement design is planned. FY2016 Projects
18 FY2016 Lift Stations #5 and #6 Improvements $450, Sanitary Sewer Lift Station #5 (Ambria Drive) and #6 (Armour Blvd.) will be upgraded. These lift stations are beyond their service life and require rehabilitation, with no major maintenance completed on either since their original installation in 1964 (#5) and 1989 (#6). It is anticipated that the design effort will be utilized to pursue a federal grant. FY2017 Projects
21 FY2017 Midlothian Road Multi Use Path Construction $575, The construction of a multi use path along Midlothian Road between Hillside Drive and Courtland Street. This path will connect the existing sidewalk system with Lake County s Prairie and Millennium Paths. FY2017 Projects
22 FY2017 Long Meadow Estates Multi Use Path Design $30, Design of an at grade, off street, hard surface pedestrian bicycle path to provide an alternative to automobile transportation for a neighborhood of more than 325 homes to Mundelein's School District # 75 Mechanics Grove Elementary School. The neighborhood is physically separated from the elementary school by the unimproved State Route 53 Right of Way. It is anticipated that the design effort will be utilized to pursue a federal grant. 23 FY2017 East Hawley Street Reconstruction- Design $250, The design of the reconstruction of East Hawley Street from Seymour Avenue to IL 176. The expectation is that Lake County will partner with the Village to construct the improvement and ultimately accept a jurisdictional transfer. FY2017 Projects
24 FY2017 FY2017 Pavement Preservation Program $150, This annual program has been established in order to make repairs to streets that are not part of the annual street improvement project. The service life of the selected streets will be extended by grinding off the existing surface and replacing it with new asphalt. Exact locations for the program are determined the year prior to the proposed improvements. FY2017 Projects
25 FY2017 FY2017 Street & Infrastructure Construction $2,700, The construction of the FY17 street and infrastructure improvements in Loch Lomond and Huntington Drive based upon the scope of work and limits of construction developed in the design phase during FY2016. FY2017 Projects
26 FY2017 FY2018 Street & Infrastructure - Design $125, The design of the FY2018 street and infrastructure improvements. Project will include the reconstruction of streets in the Loch Lomond Subdivision together with the installation of curb and storm sewer and the replacement/repair of water and sewer mains. FY2017 Projects
27 FY2017 Seavey Drainage Way Construction $2,500, There are various alternatives to accomplishing the goal of proper conveyance of stormwater runoff. The scope of the work will be dependent on proposed development of parcels adjacent to and abutting the drainage channel. FY2017 Projects
28 FY2017 Maple Avenue (IL 176) Water Main Replacement Design $85, The water main along Maple Avenue between Midlothian Road and California Avenue is deteriorating and the replacement design is planned. FY2017 Projects
29 FY2017 North Hills Subdivision Water Main Construction $925, The Village maintains the water and sewer mains in the unincorporated North Hills Subdivision. The water main is deteriorating and the replacement construction is planned. FY2017 Projects

34 FY2018 Lake St Allanson Rd and Diamond Lake Rd Design $350, The intersections of Diamond Lake Road and Allanson Road with Lake Street are within close proximity of one another limiting efficient flow of traffic. Having two collector streets intersect an arterial roadway in such a disjointed fashion creates traffic backups and circulation issues for vehicles traveling along all three routes and impacts access to the adjoining commercial properties. FY2018 Projects
35 FY2018 Maple Avenue Multi Use Path Construction $250, Construction of the proposed multi use path (pedestrian and bicycle) link on IL 176 (Maple Avenue) between Midlothian Road (County Highway 73) and US 45 (Lake Street). It will provide a connection to an existing multi use path along Midlothian Road that connects to public schools, a public library and shopping and is the first link in a planned interconnection with the multijurisdictional North Shore Bike Path that presently terminates on the eastern border of Mundelein. The cost represents the anticipated Village share of a 80/20 Federal Grant. FY2018 Projects
36 FY2018 East Hawley Street Construction $800, The construction of the East Hawley Street Improvements from Seymour Avenue to IL 176. The expectation is that Lake County will fund the construction with the Village funding the replacement of Village assets followed by the jurisdictional transfer. FY2018 Projects
