The H3 family offers 3 aperture recessed downlights, delivering high light output with a minimal ceiling presence. H3 trims include precision die-cast trim rings and gimbals, machined Coilex baffles, and decorative glass elements. H3 trims accept either low voltage (12V) MR16 lamps or line voltage (120V) GU10 lamps, and they are available in a wide selection of styles and finishes. Trim finishes include traditional White or Black, as well as metallic finishes of Satin Nickel, Antique Copper, Tuscan Bronze, Satin Chrome, and Polished Chrome (finish options vary by trim model). Shower trims of non-conductive and non-corrosive polymer are also available. H3 offers a comprehensive selection of housings to satisfy every installation need from new construction to remodel in Insulated Ceilings (IC) and Non-IC Air-Tite. 6 H3 TRIMS A NEW DIMENSION IN RECESSED LIGHTING Recessed lighting has always been popular for its ability to deliver effective lighting while maintaining an unobtrusive ceiling appearance. The development of small aperture lamps such as the low voltage MR16 and line voltage GU10 has made possible a family of ultra-compact recessed trims. The Halo H3 trims deliver effective illumination yet they have a low impact presence that does not intrude on the main decorating elements in a space. The trims feature meticulous Die-cast or machined detailing and they can accommodate either low voltage or line voltage lamps depending on the housing used. The 3 aperture H3 trim rings also match the design and style of Halo 4 and 5 trims allowing a coordinated ceiling appearance. Round Square Finishes 6 All H3 trims accept either lamps or 120V GU10 lamps. Most trims allow lamp to tilt 15 to 35 for precise aiming. The 3010 Super-Adjustable allows 0º up to 80º tilt for aiming in even tight distances. White/Black Baffle White/White Baffle Die-cast adjustable gimbals with positive and negative aiming. Three square trim styles Black/Black Baffle Deco Antique Copper Precision machined baffles with solid die-cast rings. 7 6 H3 housings are offered in ten models that can accommodate any type of installation need. Insulated Ceiling (IC) Air-Tite, Non-IC Air-Tite, low voltage, line voltage, new construction, remodel and commercial 277-volt. In addition the housings have all the contractor friendly features you ve come to expect from Halo such as Got Nail bar hangers, Pass-N-Thru bar hangers and Slide-N-Side junction boxes that save installation time and money. Slide-N-Side wire traps simplify installation. Simply open junction box cover and make wiring connections outside the junction box. The push in "Quick Connectors" are included and eliminate the need for separate wire nuts. Housings adjust in plaster frame to accommodate up to 1-1/2 thick ceiling material. 1-1/2 Slide non-metallic sheathed cable into wire trap and close junction box cover. Housing choices also include IC (Insulated Ceiling) and ICAT (Insulated Ceiling - Air-Tite ) versions. Halo junction boxes include easy pry outs for use with rigid conduit or metallic cable. All H3 housings are Air-Tite Got Nail! Bar hanger is ready for installation in regular lumber, engineered joists, laminated veneer joists - even frozen lumber. Housing choices include remodel versions for use in existing ceilings. 5
