The bank is not bound to assign any reason thereof. 5) The applicant shall submit an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of Rs. 5,000/- (Five Thousand only) for empanelment of vendors for refilling and supply of new fire extinguishers for branches and offices in the form of a demand draft or pay slip in favour of Bank of India, Payable at Siliguri. Such Draft/ pay slip should be in separate third cover marked as EARNEST MONEY DEPOSIT.
6) The earnest money deposit of the all unsuccessful bidder/vendor will be returned within a period of 30 days from the date of opening of the financial bid. 7) Each page of the application form shall be signed. The application shall be signed by person/persons on behalf of the organization having necessary authorization/power of attorney to do so. 8) If the space in the proforma is in sufficient for furnishing full details, such information may be supplemented on separate sheets of paper, stating therein the part of the proforma and serial number. Separate sheets shall be used for each part. 9) The application form shall remain valid for 90 days from the date of submission of the bids. 10) Applicants are required to give two current references from whom Bank can seek credentials of the firm for the satisfaction of the Bank. B. Eligibility Criteria:- The bidder/vendor/contractor/firm/companies, should fulfill the following eligibility criteria- a) The firm/vendor should have an office at least in one location of following places i. Alipuduar ii. Siliguri iii. Malda iv. Murshidabad b) The firm/vendor should have minimum 05(Five) year experience in the field of captioned work. c) The firm/vendor must have an experience of having successfully completed i. 01 job of Rs. 8 Lac or ii. 02 jobs of Rs.6 Lac or iii. 03 jobs of Rs.4 Lac for refilling work of fire extinguishers or installation of new fire extinguishers in Govt./PSU/Nationalized Banks/Private Firms. d) The average financial turnover during the last three years ending as on 31 st March 2016 should be Rs. 07 (seven) Lac per year. e) The firm/vendor should be an income tax assesse and should have filed income tax return for the last three assessment year. f) The firm/vendor should be authorized dealer of a reputed brand of fire extinguishers for supply & refilling of fire extinguishers and new fire extinguishers shall be comply IS 15683:2006 only. g) The firm/vendor should have proper facility for hydraulic testing etc. for all type fire extinguishers as per BIS 2190:2010. h) The short listing of vendors will be done after scrutinizing/analysis of the documents and they will be only entitled for quoting the rate of refilling and new supply of fire extinguishers as per annexure II i) Upon evaluation of financial bids, the empaneled vendors will be called for a meeting in which the rates for refilling, hydraulic testing, painting & new supply of fire extinguishers will be discussed & rationalized/standardized. h) The empanelment of vendors for refilling and supply of new fire extinguishers shall be valid for 03(three) years. The performance of empaneled vendors shall be reviewed every year and in case of unsatisfactory services, Bank will have a right to terminate from the list of empaneled vendors by giving 15 days prior notice.
