Situation The Old Rectory sits beautifully within its landscaped gardens and grounds on the edge of the delightful village of Elworthy on the borders of Exmoor National Park. Whilst Elworthy is a small village, there is a pub in the nearby village of Stogumber, Wiveliscombe, approximately 5 miles away has a post office, well regarded butcher and a range of other shops. Taunton, the county town of Somerset, is approximately 12 miles away with excellent day to day shopping, recreational and educational facilities. Communication links are good with the M5 motorway (Junction 25) approximately 14 miles away giving easy access to Bristol and the north, Exeter and the south west or the A358/A303 to the east. London is also within easy reach by train with the quickest train from Taunton to London Paddington taking approximately 1 hour 40 minutes. In addition, there are regular national and international flights from Bristol and Exeter airports. The area is renowned for its wonderful recreational and sporting opportunities with excellent shooting on many of the wooded valleys, hunting with numerous packs of hounds on Exmoor and fishing on the Rivers Exe and Barle. There is a wide variety of schools in the area. King s Hall Preparatory School is only 9 miles away and in Taunton, there is Kings College, Queen s College and Taunton School. Blundell s at Tiverton is about 25 miles away.

The Old Rectory, Elworthy The Old Rectory is an immaculate Grade II Listed family house.
