Your Mystical Garden tour starts as you board your private motorcoach from Green Bay to Chicago O Hare. Overnight flight to Dublin, Ireland. Enjoy in-flight meals and entertainment as you start your enchanting gardens adventure to Ireland. Day 2: Arrive Dublin. (L, D) After completing immigration formalities and picking up your luggage, go to the CIE Tours desk in the Arrivals Hall to arrange to meet your driver/guide. After getting everyone settled on the motorcoach and luggage stored, we drive into the city center and meet up with a local guide for our Dublin Sightseeing tour. You will also be making a stop at Trinity College to see the Book of Kells. After your visit, enjoy lunch at a local Dublin pub. Then you will venture into the beautiful National Botanic Gardens. Founded in 1795, the gardens

contain wonderful Victorian glasshouses. Stroll around the many different types of gardens containing numerous collections of plants and trees from all over the world. Then board the coach to go to your hotel to check in. After you have settled into your room, you may like to rest or explore some of the city on your own. Meet up in the lounge prior to dinner for a welcome drink. Dinner will be at Ashling Hotel. Day 3: Boyne Valley & Leisure time In Dublin (B) Travel north of the city to the Boyne Valley Visitor Centre, where you can learn about the nearby underground burial sites, exhibits and audio-visual presentations. Then actually visit the Megalithic Passage Tomb of Newgrange, which was built about 3200 BC. The kidneyshaped mound covers an area of over one acre and is surrounded by 97 kerbstones, some of which are richly decorated with megalithic art. After your visit, return to Dublin where the balance of the day is free for independent activities. There are plenty of museums of Irish interest such as the National Museum, the National Gallery or the Writers Museum. In addition, you will find plenty of shops along Nassau Street and the pedestrianized Grafton Street or Henry Street. The evening is free for independent dining. Ashling Hotel. Day 4: Glendalough & Kilfane Glen and Waterfall (B, L, D) After breakfast, drive across the Wicklow Mountains to see the 6 th century monastic ruins of Glendalough, where the peacefulness of the valley conjures up the spirit of the monks. The Visitor Centre explains how St. Kevin founded this settlement at a time when Christianity was burgeoning throughout Ireland. After Glendalough, we continue through scenic Wicklow stopping for lunch at a local pub. Then on to Kilfane Glen and Waterfall, a romantic woodland garden. Here you will see a picturesque setting with a waterfall tumbling to a rushing stream and woodland paths leading to a cottage orne. Return to our hotel and relax before dinner in the Talbot Hotel. Day 5: Wexford Tour & Johnstown Castle Gardens (B,D) This morning see some of Wexford town s sites, including Bull ring, Selskar Abbey and the beautiful Opera House. Then drive a short distance to the beautiful fifty acre Johnstown Castle Gardens with over two hundred different kinds of trees and shrubs. The ornamental grounds are set aside the exquisite 19 th century Johnstown Castle. Stroll through the wooded grounds or relax by the lakeside. Return to Wexford with some time to relax or explore before joining everyone for dinner. Talbot Hotel Day 6: Blarney Castle & Waterford (B, D) After breakfast we depart Wexford and head south to Blarney Castle. Here we will give you plenty of time to explore the beautiful gardens, the Rock Close, Wishing Steps and of course kiss the famous Stone of Eloquence. You will also have time to shop at the Blarney Woollen Mills, which has an excellent range of Irish products. We will stop at Blairs Inn for lunch on your own, before continuing on to Waterford. After arrival, enjoy some time to settle in or take a stroll along the quay before dining at the Granville Hotel.

Day 7: Mount Usher Gardens & Russborough House (B,D) This morning travel to Ashford to Visit Mount Usher Gardens, naturalized gardens on the River Vartry with specimens from around the world. The gardens are particularly noted for their eucalyptus and encryphia collections while the woodland walks provide beautiful vistas of azalea and rhododendrons. Then a short distance to tour Russborough House, a stately mansion built for a wealthy Dublin brewer, Joseph Leeson, in 1741. See the excellent plasterwork throughout the house and the fine rooms with antique furniture, tapestries and carpets. Here you can see the Beit Collection, one of the finest art collections in Ireland. You may also like to explore Beech Hedge maze and surrounding parkland. After your visit, drive to the south Dublin coast where your castle hotel is located. Enjoy some free time to relax in the secluded gardens of the Fitzpatricks Castle Hotel or admire majestic view of Dublin Bay. In the evening, join your group for dinner in the castle s fine restaurant. After your visit drive to your beautiful castle hotel for the evening Clontarf Castle Hotel. Enjoy some time to settle in before dinner. This evening head to the Abbey Tavern for dinner and a traditional Ballard session. The drive to Howth, will give you great views of the Dublin Bay. Day 9: Return to the United States (B) After your final Irish Breakfast, it is time to bid-farewell to this beautiful island country. Enjoy the beautiful transfer to the Dublin airport, as you reminisce about the beautiful people you have met and the glorious scenery you have enjoyed. After check-in at the airport, you will have time to shop at the duty-free stores. Upon arrival into Chicago, you will get your luggage and head to your transfer coach waiting to take you back to Green Bay. Day 8: Bray, Powerscourt Gardens & Abbey Tavern Evening (B, D) This morning we will stop in the Bray, Ireland for unique shopping. Then continue on to Powerscourt House & Gardens. These splendid gardens contain specimens gathered from nay countries and climates and encompass sweeping terraces, superb antique sculptures, and a circular pool with a soaring fountain jet. The gardens are set in a valley of the Wicklow Mountains and offer glorious views of both the gardens and the surrounding countryside with the distinctive Sugarloaf Mountain in the background.
