ONION, BACON AND CREAM SOUP INGREDIENTS TO SERVE 4 PEOPLE 100 g bacon 300 g onion 30 g butter 1 L hot water 2 cubes of chicken stock 150 ml heavy cream 50 g Cheddar cheese (or other hard cheese) 10 slices of French loaf, toasted PREPARATION 1. Thinly slice the bacon and place it in the MicroCook Round (2,25 L). Cover and microwave for 3 min. at 600 watts. Drain the excess fat if needed. 2. Peel the onions and slice them. Add them with the butter to the bacon in the MicroCook. Cover and microwave for 7 min. at 600 watts. 3. In the Mix N Store (1 L), mix the hot water with the crumbled cubes of chicken stock and pour over the onions. Mix well, cover and microwave for 12 min. at 600 watts. Allow to stand for 2 min. 4. Add the heavy cream and microwave again for 1 min. at 600 watts. 5. Preheat the oven to 210 C. 6. Using the Grate N Measure, grate the cheese, then sprinkle it over the slices of French bread. Toast them in the oven on a Baking Sheet for 10-15 min. 7. Serve the soup together with the toasted cheese bread.
