HESAI HS-4000 Laser-Based Remote Methane Leak Detector
HESAI Introduction HS-4000 is an ultralight and highly sensitive instrument that utilizes laser for remote methane leak detection HS-4000 emits laser lights of a wavelength of 1650nm. Laser lights can travel through glasses, partially absorbed by gas, and reflected by furniture and walls, all the way back into the sensor. This reflected light is collected and converted to an electrical signal that carries information needed to deduce the relative methane concentration The laser has a actual distance of up to 50m and is selective to methane only. It will not false alarm on other hydrocarbons HS-4000 has done over 10,000 inspections in residential areas and detected 12 gas leaks
