TIMELINE The Early Years... More Recently... 1922 Max Wilson, nephew of Francis joined FEC. 1961 60 years after the founding of the company, the electrical division of the company called Collingwood VLM is established by Brian Maeers and Max Wilson. 2002 Collingwood Lighting launched its first range of purpose built LED lighting to Electrical Wholesale. 2006 Collingwood distributes lighting in Australia and Sweden. 2010 Now distributing in 15 countries around the world. 2011 110 years after being established, Collingwood acquires French company Seelight SASU, now called Collingwood France. 1901 FEC founded by Francis E Collingwood. 1956 Charles Brian Maeers - Godson of Max joined FEC. 2001 100 years after the founding of the company, the company name changed to Collingwood Lighting and LED lighting development work started. 2010 Halers Lighting established and became part of Collingwood Lighting in 2012. 2013 112 years after being established, the success continues with current Managing Director, Justin Maeers.
