General The NORcanopy product group produced by ETS Nord consists of ventilation units for installation above kitchen equipment in catering kitchens. To ensure an efficient and comfortable work environment in kitchens, excessive heat, grease and other dirt particles must be removed from kitchen air. NORcanopy kitchen hoods create a comfortable and hygienic work environment. Thanks to the FK centrifugal filters in our kitchen hoods, % of cooking greases are eliminated from kitchen air. NORcanopy products are manufactured of stainless steel according to the standards EVS-EN 0-:0, EN.0 or AISI 0 (AISI 0, surface K). Kitchen hood selection When choosing a hood, the first question is whether grease or steam is to be extracted. For air volume (supply/exhaust) calculations, the heat, steam and other impurity loads caused by cooking equipment should be taken into account. Extraction hoods are selected according to cooking equipment size. The hood should be wider/deeper than the equipment by 00 mm to 00 mm. oods installed over ovens should be deeper than the oven by at least 00 mm. The distance between equipment and hood influences how much the hood should be larger than the equipment. Recommended height from floor not more than 000 mm. KS Kitchen hood for supply and exhaust air Ensures a clean, hygienic and comfortable kitchen environment by removing dirt and excessive heat from the kitchen and eliminating grease from exhaust air. The same unit will supply replacement air to the room. Supply air is fed into the room through the hood's front panel and extra supply air nozzles in the operation area. Air coming from the Turbo Grip air intake system improves conveyance of polluted air into grease filters, where grease and other dirt particles are removed from extraction air. Removed dirt will run into a grease removal conduit and then into a grease collection container. Replacement air directed to the working area can easily be individually adjusted. KVM Exhaust air module A d Exhaust air grease filter module for installation inside a hood. Removes excess heat, grease and other particles contained in the air through filters. KA Steam trap KA steam trap ensures a clean, hygienic and comfortable kitchen environment by removing steam. Operation esigned for extracting water vapour caused by kitchen equipment from exhaust air. Temperature difference raises vapour into the top of the hood where it condenses on the surface of blades and flows along the side plates into drainage pipe and through a connection into e.g. a sewer.
