About Tianjin Tianjin is located in the northeast of the North China Plain in the Bohai Sea area. It is one of four metropolis cities with a population of over 10 million people and is 30 minutes away from Beijing by a high-speed-train link. Tianjin has a rich history and has many examples of old British and Italian architecture. The famous Italian concession area has the largest cluster of old Italian architecture outside of Italy.
