Instructions for use Sit in chair, if seat tilt is adjustable, adjust the seat so that it is approximately horizontal, to follow profile of the underside of thighs. Adjust the seat height so that your feet are resting flat on the floor. For good circulation your feet should take the weight of your legs. Adjust the forward-back movement of the backrest to give firm support while sitting upright. Adjust the height of the backrest to give support to the lumbar region of your back. Your forearms should slope gently down mid high of your keyboard when working at a desk. Chair may require adjusting during working day. For computer work, incline it slightly back, for writing work incline the seat slightly forward. Sitting upright, position the monitor screen viewing distance of 650mm, with midline screen height 100mm below eye level and angle screen at 5 degrees. If fitted with seat slide, adjust length/depth to give 50mm clearance for calves. Arm rest height should be 20mm below elbow levels. It has 5 locking positions and a backrest shock resistant safety function THIS QUALITY PRODUCT IS AUSTRALIAN MADE Left hand side: Lift lever up -mechanism is free floating. Push lever down mechanism is in locked position. Locking procedure Find the desired position and push lever downwards. To unlock Pull lever upwards and put pressure on backrest. Lift lever for seat height adjustment Seat tilt tension adjustment knob. Turn to increase or decrease tension. CASTORS GAS LIFT UPHOLSTERY - FABRICS Axle is pre-lubed for years of smooth running. Check that castors do not become clogged with carpet fibres. Cleaning No maintenance required. However, it is recommended adjusting the lift upwards and downwards to help lubricate.
