ACCOMPLISHMENTS FY 08-09 Removed the trailers from the Skylonda Station with State Funded personnel. This was a cost savings to the County of just under $30,000 Utilized available State funded personnel to cover County funded engines at a savings of $42,600 to the County.

CONCLUSION CAL FIRE San Mateo County Fire continues to provide a cost effective emergency services program to the citizens and visitors of San Mateo County Challenges include our aging emergency automotive fleet and fire stations We project that personnel costs will decrease in FY 08-09 & 09-10 due the Governor's Employee Furlough Program. This is a projected savings of $200,000 to the County We are rapidly approaching the 50 th anniversary of the cooperative relationship providing fire protection services.
