Fault s and Service Programs E:08 pump detects low water level. E:08 error code won't show during E:09 Sanitized LED flashes and E:09 E:11 Sanitized LED flashes and E:11 E:13 E:13 error code won't show during E:15 Wash cycle abruptly stops, dishwasher drains intermittently, Sanitized LED flashes and E:15 Water inlet He eat pump pump Float switch Door latch Hall sensor not detected. Faulty door latch Hall sensor. Low water level. Faulty heater circuit (open - circuited). pump NTC resistances out of range. pump NTC s disconnected. Incoming water too hot (> 75ºC / 167ºF). Water in base activated float switch and dishwasher can t be shut off. Align door latch above Hall sensor. Check continuity / connections between door switch and power. With door closed, measure voltage across door latch Hall sensor connector. If > 10 V, replace Hall sensor. If < 10 V, replace power. Hint: pump measures water flow. Run test program to check error codes. Check water supply & repair any leaks. Check for kinks in inlet hoses. Turn over pots / bowls collecting water. Check continuity between water inlet valve and power. Measure voltage across water inlet valve terminals during step 1 of customer service test program. If 120V, replace water inlet valve. If not 120V, replace power. Check continuity between heat pump heating element and power. If harness is faulty, replace it. Measure heat pump p heating element resistance, which should be 8.9 Ω @ room temp. If not, replace heat pump. If so, replace power. Measure heat pump NTC resistances. If NTC s are faulty, replace heat pump. Check continuity between heat pump NTC s and power. Make sure wire harness is securely connected. If harness is faulty, replace it. Run test program to check error codes. Make sure water inlet temperature is < 75 ºC / 167 ºF. Remove debris / obstructions from drain pump / drain hose. Remove water from base. Make sure float & float switch aren't stuck. Make sure water inlet valve isn't stuck "open". Check inlet hoses for leaks. Remove water from base. 702_58300000185368_asp_en_a Ref: Material # 9000765783 Page 2 of 5

Water valve Water supply pump pump Sump Drain pump p Drain pump pump Inlet water flow rate too high. Check float switch connections and continuity between float switch and wire harness (to power ). Hint: pump measures water flow. Check water flow limiter in water inlet valve. If water valve is faulty, replace it. Inlet water flow rate too low. Hint: pump measures water flow. Check water supply. Faulty heat pump wire harness. Faulty heat pump motor winding. pump is blocked / clogged. Check continuity between heat pump and power. If harness is faulty, replace it. Measure heat pump motor winding resistance between any 2 terminals. If 15.2 Ω @ room temp, replace power. If not, replace heat pump. Remove debris / obstructions from heat pump. Water in sump. Clean fine filter screen (above sump) and coarse multifilter (inside sump). Faulty drain pump harness. Check continuity between drain pump and power. If harness is faulty, replace it. Faulty drain pump. Measure drain pump resistance between any 2 terminals. If 80.5 Ω @ room temp, replace power. If not, replace drain pump. Incorrect drain installation garbage Remove garbage disposal plug. disposal plug wasn t removed. Incorrect drain installation no high loop or drain connection too high. Make sure drain hose is < 150 (12.5') long, has a 33 high loop and is installed 50 above the floor. Clogged drain line, drain hose or backflow Unclog house drain line, drain hoses & backflow valve. Kinked drain hose. Straighten out drain hose. Replace hose if faulty. Leaky or faulty backflow valve. If backflow valve leaks or doesn t close, replace it. Tight heat pump impeller. If drain pump cover is installed correctly, check if heat pump impeller is tight. If so, replace heat pump. 702_58300000185368_asp_en_a Ref: Material # 9000765783 Page 3 of 5
