The unit has to be restarted following the "Initial operation of the unit" later in this manual. For the safety of operators, the unit is equipped with interlock switches for the opening of the top covers during operation, for overheating and for safety level switches. 1315 User's Manual - CONCEPT Processor DW / DW XP

2-2 Daily use Make sure the room temperature is between 17 and 25 C (63 and 77 F) and relative humidity between 40 and 60%. Before turning the unit on make sure that the working area around the unit is clean and free for easy movement. Check if there are any leaks of solvent and all the required supplies and connections (power supply, compressed air and exhaust). Check that all emergency stop buttons are released. If they are not, release them by turning them clockwise. Turn on the main switch located at the front of the machine (right side). The unit is now displaying the standby screen. To switch on the unit press ON/OFF button located below the control panel of the unit. Then two different screens can be displayed: The processor is running an automatic cleaning cycle at the switch on. The processor has been stopped with at least one plate in process. This screen disappears as soon as the cleaning cycle is finished. Press cycles. and confirm to reset all ongoing To cancel the cleaning cycle at the switch on press and confirm. Press and confirm to restart the processor at the same status as at the power off. This gives the possibility to continue the process of a plate remaining in the unit. To start desired function simply press its graphic symbol on the screen. First touch of the symbol starts the function, second touch stops it. It is not possible to start the pump if the associated solenoid valves have not been opened before. It is to prevent overpressure and high temperature in pump itself (no circulation of solvent). If the solenoid valves are closed together with the pump running, the pump will stop automatically. To change the speed of the transport chain, press and enter new value. The new value is used only in the manual function and does not affect the speed parameters stored for plate production. It is possible to run the transport chain forwards or backwards by pressing or. Remember that running the transport chain backwards may cause a damage of the processor if no attention is paid to the position of the transport bar. transport chain speed transport chain direction 1315 User's Manual - CONCEPT Processor DW / DW XP

2-6 Daily use Plate parameters It is possible to store 25 plates (channels 0-24) with their washout speed and time (depending on the model). By pressing button following plate parameters screen is displayed (this button is available on the main screen as well as on the plate selection screen). 305 DW / 405 DW / 505 DW These models can run only incremental mode. 505 DW XP This model can run both incremental and batch mode. By running incremental mode it is used the washout speed and by running batch mode it is used the washout time. By pressing button it can be chosen incremental or batch mode.
