FEATURED PRODUCTS ASPIRATING SMOKE DETECTION CONVEYOR BELT DETECTION FIRE CONTROL PANELS VESDA s Very Early Warning Smoke Detectors are available in a variety of models to accommodate a broad range of environments and applications. From small to very large open spaces, and from the cleanest to the dirtiest environments, VESDA provides reliable, high-sensitivity, very early warning smoke detection. The VESDA ECO Detector is the industry s first system to combine ASD with gas detection and environmental monitoring. OPTICAL BEAM SMOKE DETECTION EXTINGUISHING PANELS FIRE SUPPRESSION UNITS The Motorised Reflective Optical Beam Smoke Detector from The Fire Beam, offers cost-effective detection solutions to protect large areas. The motorised beam head continually self-aligns, and the low level controller allows all major functions to be performed from the safety of ground level. Open-area Smoke Imaging Detection (OSID) by Xtralis is an innovative system for reliable, cost-effective smoke detection for large, open spaces warehouses, airports, stadiums, malls that pose unique challenges to reliable fire detection due to their environmental nature and limitations. OSID uses a sophisticated algorithm to map and compare the strength of infrared (IR) and ultraviolet (UV) light signals from detectors configured in the area. All Extinguishing requirements are catered for from the most basic control panels through to the more advanced intelligent systems. Repeater panels, weatherproof versions, combined fire and extinguishing panels and sophisticated panels with displayed count down and EN54 certification are available. Stat-X Aerosol Generators can be activated either manually or automatically. Upon activation, the generators produce an exceptionally effective, ultra-fine, potassium-based aerosol. Stat-X aerosol generators are very cost effective to install and maintain. The Stat-X generator s effectiveness is a function of its patented design, aerosol composition, and ultrafine particle size. Stat-X aerosol generators are virtually maintenance free and have a service life of over 10 years. This, coupled with their very low installation cost, makes them an extremely cost-effective fire protection suppression solution.

The 40/40 range includes IR3, combined UV/IR, single UV, single IR, as well as a multi IR Detector which provides combined hydrocarbon and hydrogen flame detection. Protectowire Linear Heat Detector is a proprietary cable that detects heat anywhere along its length. Protectowire is a fixed temperature digital sensor and is therefore capable of initiating an alarm once its rated activation temperature is reached. The sensor cable is comprised of two steel conductors individually insulated with a heat sensitive polymer. The insulated conductors are twisted together to impose a spring pressure between them, then wrapped with a protective tape and finished with an outer jacket suitable for the environment in which the detector will be installed. Linear heat detection is ideally suited to industrial high-risk hazards, as well as many types of commercial applications. All the latest forms of Heat and Smoke Detection are available, including worldclass Apollo conventional and intelligent point detectors, award-winning optical beam, wireless, battery operated standalone smoke detectors, and more. The cost-effective, EN54 approved, SensoMAG conventional detector range offers heat, optical smoke and multicriteria detectors with a state-of-the-art, compact and clear design. Suitable for various applications residential, trade and commercial buildings. However demanding the requirement or harsh the environment, we have a detector to suit. DOOR RELEASE UNITS MANUAL CALL POINTS WARNING DEVICES Fire doors should be kept closed to prevent fire or smoke from spreading throughout a building. However, this can cause problems in buildings with high human traffic flow education institutions, hospitals, care homes and hotels. Magnetic door release units are designed to hold open fire or smoke stop doors for convenience during normal conditions, and then release them either manually or automatically in response to an emergency. An extensive collection of EN54-11 approved Apollo manual call points complements the wide product range available in our intelligent and conventional offerings. Each manual call point is available with a resettable element, a back-box for surface mounting, with additional features. Models with front LED indicators are also available. The SensoMAG manual call point has a resettable, flexible working element to ensure reliable and safe operation. The LED indication informs the user of fire and test events. Klaxon, one of the world s leading manufacturers of Audible and Visual Signalling Equipment and Solutions, offers an extensive product range including electronic sounders, voice enhanced sounders, sirens, beacons and bells. The range of fire alarm sounders includes Sonos sounders for small to medium commercial applications and Nexus sounders for high output industrial applications. Emergency beacons use either Xenon flash tubes or highefficiency LEDs as their light source. In high background noise areas emergency beacons accompany sounders to ensure the alarm is recognised.
